Sage

I am packing another overnight bag to head to Boston. I was able to get an inexpensive flight and found a hotel right around the corner from the venue. I am going to surprise Kellan and I cannot wait to see his face when he see's I came to see him. The venue was almost sold out, but I was able to score a single ticket before the last one was sold.

After listening to all Gretchen told me about Donovan and the family, I want to get out of the city. Honestly, if I could move to Boston I would. But that would mean that they got the best of me. I love Manhattan and I love my job, so I'm not moving.

The cab ride to the airport and going through security took longer than the forty-five minute flight. I have not been to Boston in a really long time. When I was young my parents took my sister and I here for two weeks in the summer. My father had an office in the city and a small apartment he would stay at when he came to town for work. My mother loved Boston and always wanted to move, but my father was needed more in Manhattan than Boston.

As the cab takes me to my hotel, I remember so many things from my childhood. I wonder if I would be able to find my father's old apartment. I used to know my way around Boston pretty well.

The hotel is tiny. It's wedged between two large buildings and is close to the street. The reception area is small and a little dark.

I am pleasantly surprised when I enter my room. The window faces the back of the building, so the sounds from the street are muffled, and the room is really bright. I throw my bag down on the ground and flop on the bed.

Huh, this bed seems pretty comfortable. I toss off my shoes and scoot up to a pillow. I'm pretty tired from the stress of the morning and from not getting much sleep last few nights. A short nap seems like a grand idea.

I wake in the dark hotel room and wonder where I am. Remembering that I am in Boston, I'm startled when I see how dark it is outside. The clock says it's 9:15 and I pop out of bed and run into the bathroom. I am sure Kellan won't go on until 10 or later, but I need time to get ready.

My shower is quick and I only dry my hair enough so its not dripping. My curls do better to dry on their own. My dark jeans are very form fitting. My blouse is looser but its one of my favorites. Underneath, I have on a black lace bra and panty set that I hope Kellan likes. I can't wait to spend another night in his arms. I spend a little more time on my make-up than normal and put some lipstick in my bag.

I arrive at the Kit-Cat Club a little after 10:00. I can hear Mayhem playing as I hand over my ticket. Damn, I think. I wanted to be here when they went on stage.

The place is very crowded and the venue is huge. People are dancing everywhere and there is no way I can get close to the stage. I choose a spot in the back, where I can see okay, but I'm not getting shoved around.

Kellan looks so hot on stage. He's wearing dark jeans, a black shirt that is partially buttoned down in the front, a leather necklace and bracelets. He looks so comfortable with a guitar in his hand. Occasionally he looks out at the crowd and gives a small smile to his fans. It must be hot up there because he's sweating.

He is so good looking. I cannot wait to have him to myself and properly thank him for everything he did for me today.

They play about five more songs before they start announce their final song. "This is our final song for the night," announces Jazz. "We'll be selling all sorts of great stuff, right over there, and we'll even sign an autograph or two after the show."

After the music stops everyone starts to line up for autographs and swag. I hold back and order a drink. I figure I will wait until they are just about through before I announce my arrival to Kellan.
