(Joes POV)

The girl leans her head on my chest and falls asleep. I carry on stroking her hair.

"Caspar," I whisper "what are we going to do with her, like after she's gone to hospital?"

"I don't know Joe. We need to find out if she's got any family, I guess she's got none. So a care home?"

We finally get to the hospital and we carry her in.

"Hello. We just found this girl and we don't know what to do and we think she's hurt an-"

"Sir, please calm down don't worry. What's your name?"

"Joe. Joe Sugg."

"And yours?" The nurse asks Caspar.

"Caspar Lee."

"We'll take to to the X-ray room and see if she's hurt."

We wait outside the X-ray room for 10 minutes and the nurse walks out.

"Hi there. The girl has broken her ankle."

"Oh my god." I say.

"But other than that, she's unhurt."

"Thank you." We both say.

(Ambers POV)

I wake in soft sheets and warmth. Not normal.

Where am I?

I open my eyes and see the two men. Joe and Caspar?

Joe is holding my right hand and Caspar is stroking my left.

"Nurse! Nurse! She's awake! She's awake!"

A slightly overweight nurse with a kind face waddles over to the bed.

"Hello there. How are you feeling? My name's Jenny. I've heard these two men have saved you."

"Umm. Yeah. I'm feeling ok."

"Honey, what's your name and how old are you?" Jenny asks.

"My names Amber Grant, and I'm 12."

"Wow! Your very brave for a 12 year old." Says Caspar.

I tell Joe and Caspar about my past, James, and how I've survived. Jenny goes to see if I have any relatives on the database who are alive when I mention living on the streets.

She comes back at takes Joe and Caspar aside.

I try and turn over when strong hands help me. I look behind me and see Caspar, smiling at me.

(Caspar's POV)

"She has no know relatives. So the only option is a Care Home and adoption." Jenny says sadly.

"No. No. No. That can't be the only way." Blurts Joe.

"I'm sorry Joe. But that's it."

I turn and look over at Amber and see her struggling to turn over. I rush over just as Joe starts talking again.

I put my hands on her back and slowly push her. She's too thin. Unhealthy.

She turns her head to look at me. I smile. She smiles back then turns around and closes her eyes.

As I walk over to Joe and Jenny, I hear Joe say;

"I'll talk to Caspar."

Jenny walks off and Joe starts talking.

"I don't won't Amber in a Care Home."
