"Bulkhead, I NEEDED THAT!" Ratchet shouted to Bulkhead, who was carrying a crate full of Synth-EN cubes, in anger, snapping his helm away from the console to turn to him.

This caused the Wrecker in question to nervously gulp before he raises his pede from the ground, revealing that he accidently stepped on and crushed a cybertronian welding tool, one of the few things that survived the destruction of the Axalon that had been salvaged from the wreckage, rendering it useless.

"S-sorry, Ratch, it's just that there's still just so much of our base to clean up after that incident. You know, the one that started out with that yellow beam followed by those tentacle thingies." Bulkhead told the old medic apologetically, gently placing the crate down to face him. Ratchet just sighs tiredly, dropping and shaking his helm.

"I know, Bulkhead, I know, I'm sorry for lashing out at you. It's just that I've been really stressed out lately; Ever since we arrived on Copper-9, it's been one complete disaster after another. First the Axalon was destroyed, along with all of our Protoforms, by the Decepticons and leaving us stranded on this planet until we can repair our tachyon transmitter that we managed to salvage in order to contact the Elite Guard. And just as we were almost finished with the repairs, THAT whole mess, the mess we STILL need to figure out what it actually was, happened, putting us back to square one!" Ratchet ranted in explanation to the Wrecker who began to approach him, his voice getting louder as he spoke.

"What's worse is that the data drive containing the files for Project Alchemor is gone too, most likely destroyed as well! I mean, why can't something go RIGHT for once?!" He finished as he slammed his fist onto the terminal.

The medic then takes a deep breath and sighs, calming down from his rant.

"It's times like these that make me wish that Optimus is still with us... If he was here, he'd surely know how to deal with the crisis we have found ourselves in."

Bulkhead eyed the old Autobot sympathetically before placing a servo on his shoulder, prompting Ratchet to turn his helm to him.

"It's ok, Ratchet, I get how you feel. I miss our head honcho too, we all do. But we gotta hold out for him. We're not gonna let the Cons undo everything we fought for. He'd want us to keep going. You know, keep fighting the noblest of fights."

Ratchet eyed the Wrecker in thought, processing his words, especially the reciting of Optimus' last request before his self-sacrifice, before he let out a muffled chuckle.

"Who knew that you could use words like that?" The medic asked jokingly with a smile. Bulkhead simply smiles back at Ratchet, happy to see the doc-bot is in better spirits.

Then suddenly came the sound of two incoming sports cars entering the base, which caused the two Autobots to turn to see Knockout and Smokescreen, both covered in dirt, grime and snow from their recon mission, driving into the main area, transforming back into their robot modes and rushing up to the two.

"Smokescreen, Knockout, what's the matter? And why are you both covered in filth?" Ratchet asked the sports car Autobot pair before he and Bulkhead noticed that there is the unmistakable blue liquid of spilt Energon covering Knockout's claws.

"Knockout, why's your servos covered in Energon and all that mess? Usually you'd avoid messing up your-" Bulkhead tried to ask but Knockout interrupted him when he showed him and Ratchet what he was holding: Energon-stained optic and audio receptors.

"That's unimportant! Call the others back here, they need to see this! NOW!" The former Decepticon medic told the two with wide optics, heavy pants (despite the fact that cybertronians don't need to breathe).
