Prehistoric Rivals

"Grimlock... How is this possible?" Shockwave breathed in disbelief, subconsciously taking a step back as J looked towards him.

Grimlock. Shockwave mentioned that name before. Wasn't Grimlock the Autobot who bit his arm off because-

Oh... Oh no.

"Shockwave... I have waited for this chance since the fall of Cybertron." Grimlock snarled, his voice filled with venom and scorn.

"And now that it's finally here, there is not a single doubt within my mind that I can say with confidence..."

Grimlock's servo reaches for his back and unsheathes a sword that burned with an orange glow. An Energo-Sword.

"That it's payback time."

"Shockwave... I think you should leave. Right now!" J warned, her hand swapping for a missile launcher.

Grimlock lets out a vengeful war cry and charges straight for Shockwave, who instinctively turned tail and ran, slightly tripping as he did so as he fled from the scene.

Grimlock runs past the other Murder Drones before a purple and yellow Solver glyph appeared around his waist and held him in place. He turns his helm to see Uzi using her Solver to hold him in place.

"Release me, drone! He needs to pay for what he's done!" He roared in demand, violently thrashing in the Solver's grip, his pedes scrapping the snow covered ground below. Uzi grunted as she could feel her hold on the Dinobot starting to break.

"No! I'm not gonna let you go until you calm the hell down! Look, you obviously made it very clear that you and Shockwave have some history, but maybe if we just talk, we could-"

"NO! HE. WILL. DIE!"

With a bellowing, determined war cry, Grimlock shattered the glowing purple glyph into digital pieces which glitched out of existence, before the glyph's destruction resulted into an energy shockwave that threw everyone back.

"Shockwave! I'm coming for you!" Grimlock roared before he ran to where Shockwave had fled to. Everyone recovers from the blast and looked towards the direction where Shockwave and Grimlock took off in.

"We need to stop him. If he gets his hands on Shockwave..." J said as she rose to her peg feet. N sat up and brushed the snow off his coat.

"You guys go find Shockwave. I'll go look for Buddy." N said after he stood back up while V looks at him with shock.

"You can't be serious, N! You saw what that guy tried to do to Shockwave!" She snapped as she got back up too while Brawl walked up to her and stood by her side.

"I know Buddy. He wouldn't hurt me. And Uzi said it herself, those two have a very negative history, just like Doll had with you, so he only has it out for Shockwave and Shockwave alone. Plus, unlike Doll, I highly doubt he would destroy everyone who'll get in his way like she did." N explained to V before looking back at where Shockwave and Grimlock went.

"Just let me talk to him, please. I might be able to get through to him and get him to calm down."

"Go then."

Everyone turned their head towards Uzi who sat there with an arm resting on her knee.

"You know him better than any of us. And if you think you're capable of getting through to him, then go. We'll go look for Shockwave while you go find Grimlock."

"Thanks, Uzi." N thanked with a smile of gratitude before deploying his wings and taking to the air, going after Grimlock.

"Now that N's going after Grimlock, you guys should do the same with Shockwave. I just need a quick rest, I'll catch up." Uzi said to the remaining Murder Drones. J nodded before taking to the air after Shockwave, followed by Brawl and a reluctant V, leaving Uzi completely alone. Almost.
