Astrid looks around the room and sees a cove. The sight is beautiful. But then she sees Hiccup pacing. He looks about 13. He seems to be talking to himself.

She walks closer to hear what he is saying.

"He left me. Can't blame him. Whenever he talked to me, it was always with this... disappointed  scowl on his face. Like someone skimped his meat on his sandwich. 'Excuse me, barmaid. I'm afraid you brought me the wrong offspring. I ordered an extra-large boy with beefy arms. Extra guts and glory on the sides. This here, this is a talking fishbone!'"

Astrid wonders if that is how he saw himself. Yes, he is scrawny, but a fishbone? How did he think of that?

Then she remembers Snotlout or the twins were most liking coming up with the nicknames. So it had to be them.

She listens to his rambling and steps closer. But this dream seems to be different because when she steps on a stick and it snaps, Hiccup quickly looks in her direction. He doesn't seem to see her though. He sits down on a rock and puts his head in his hands.

"I must be going insane. Nobody knows where this place is."

Then the dream changes. She sees Valka, Hiccup's mother, driving.

"C'mon. C'mon. I need to be there." She mutters to herself. "Stoick said that he is in critical condition. How could I not see it?" She says frustrated.

Astrid gets a sense of deja-vu. And when she sees head lights from her parallel vision, she turns her head and sees a car coming straight toward the driver's side.

Astrid gasps, seeing how Valka died. It must be even harder for Hiccup, because he could have died the same way she did.

The dream fades and she hears her phone ringing. She sees the time and it 3:15 am. She answers the phone.

"What Ruffnut?" Astrid says annoyed that she is calling her this early.

"Snotlout called me. Hiccup called him telling you to come to the hospital. Hurry." Astrid hangs up and puts on a sweater and sneakers, not bothering to change into clothes. As she runs down the hall, she must have been loud because her dad and Conner walk out of their rooms and sees Astrid.

"Astrid, what are you doing up this early and where are you going?" Asks her dad.

"I have to go. Hiccup needs me."

"I thought you to broke up?" Conner said, looking confused.

"We did. But this is urgent. I have to go!" Astrid says She starts to leave again but Conner grabs her arm. "Conner let go! I have to go!"

"Where are you going and why?"

"The hospital. Hiccup's dad is dying now let go!"

Conner immidently lets go and Astrid runs out the door. She gets in her car and drives off to the hospital. Once she walks through the doors, she rushes to the waiting and sees Hiccup pacing back and forth. The others sit there, looking worried.

She goes over to Hiccup and gets him to calm down. But then the doctor comes out.

He has a look on his face, clearly showing that something had gone wrong.

Hiccup walks over and I see Hiccup's face fall. I stand up and walk up to Hiccup. I grab his arms and I wrap my arms around him. Hiccup hugs me back. I rub his back, hoping to let him know that he still has friends.

Ello!

Sorry for the wait.

I hope you didn't give up on this story.

I have been busy with school.

I have also been trying to watch 4 seasons of Once Upon a Time before September 27.

And I and only in the middle of season 3.

P.S. Captain Hook in the show is... well he is something.

(Not the bad something.)

(Just look at his face...)

:)
