"Who's Catali?"

Who the hell is that?
And why do I need to go see her?

"Catali is the one with all the answers. She sees everything. The past. The present. And the future. She's like an all knowing being. Not in a witchcraft way, but more of a supernatural way. You know?"

"Yeah," I answered.

"What does she have to do with me though?"

"The real question is what doesn't she have to do with you?"

I just gave him a puzzled look.

"You'll get it when we talk to her"

"Hey?"

"Yeah?," he asked as he continued to trek along the wooded path.

"I just realized something"

"And that is?"

"You never told me your name"

"Aden. It's Gaelic for fire, but I prefer to be called Ash"

"I like it. Aden," I said trying it out.

"Yeah, but I'd really prefer if you called me Ash"

"Why?"

He spun around and with lightning speed was now just inches away from my face.
His eyes ablaze with fury.

"Just. Call. Me. Ash. Okay?," He repeated with a forced calmness.

"Fine," I muttered, "Ash it is."

He didn't move.
He just stood there.

"I didn't catch your name either," he said in a hushed tone.

"Cira"

"How do you pronounce that?," He asked with a light chuckle.

"Ca-ear-ra. Cira"

"Ohh. I see. Cira," he repeated.

"My friends call me CC too"

"Naaaah. I like Cira way better," he replied in a husky tone.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah," he whispered.

I saw his eyes travel down to my mouth and trail back up to my eyes.
He leaned in a little bit.

Was he trying to kiss me?!

Why do I keep doing this to myself!
Snap out of it!

"Why don't you like your real name?," I asked.

He let out a frustrated groan and spun back around to continue on.

"Hey!," I called out after him.

He was about twenty feet ahead of me, so he probably didn't hear me or just chose to ignore me.

"Jerk," I muttered.

"I heard that!," he called back.

So THAT he hears.
I just rolled my eyes.

I started to run to close the space.
Once I caught up I tapped his shoulder to get his attention because if I just talked there was a good chance he'd ignore me.

Tap tap.
No answer.
Tap tap.
No answer.

What the hell!

He moved his arm just as I was about to tap his shoulder.
I ended up poking his bare bicep.

"Ahhhh," I cried out in pain.

I looked down at my hand to see it covered in blisters.
It looked like I got a third degree burn.
