"Aden are you done changing yet?," I called out to Him.

"Give me a minute!," he shouted back.

I heard a crash.

"Agh! Shit," he screamed.

"What happened?"

No answer.

"Are you okay?"

Screw it. I'm gonna check on him.

"No! Don't come in!," he yelled as I approached the bathroom door.

"You're being ridiculous! I'm coming in!," I yelled back.

I went to open the door, but before I could I heard a click.
He do not just lock me out!
I'm gonna have his ass for this!

"Did you seriously just lock me out!"

No answer.

"You asked for this!!!!," I warned.

Alright let's try something.
I cracked my knuckles as I focused.
If I can learn to bring out this "power" then maybe I can control it.

I focused hard on the door trying to feel for something, anything.
Another minute went by.
Nothing.

"Ugh"

What am I missing!?

Okay, think.
What caused it all the other times.
What was the trigger.

Anger.

Okay.
Let's.
Get.
Angry.

I thought about all those girls from school taunting me.
I though about all those secrets no one would reveal to me.
All the times I felt lost.
This moment right now.
Where this asshole won't let me help him!

I felt a pain behind my eyes.
I felt the power course through my veins.

"Now we're in business," I growled out.

I took a step back.
Leaned back.
And rammed my foot into the door.

There was a splintering crack of wood, then finally a thud as the door descended to the ground like a feather and hit the floor.

"What the hell Cira!"

"Let me see it"

"What?," he breathed.
His eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"I said. Let. Me. See. It," I repeated back.

"I'm fine you don't-"

"Blah. Blah. Blah. Stop being so stoic and let me help you for gods sake," I pleaded as I rolled my eyes.

He studied me for a moment, deciding what to do.
Then finally with a huff he held out his arm.

"Thank you," I said with a polite sarcasm.

I took his forearm in my hand and ran my eyes over it looking for the injury.
My eyes fell on the start of a burn that met with the cuff of his sleeve.
I rolled it back up to his elbow.

"Agh," he breathed out in pain.

I felt his arm tense.

"Relax," I ordered.

I scanned the bathroom for a sink.
My eyes landed on a shabby metal sink with exposed plumbing and a crack that spread along its side.

It'll have to do.

I dragged him to the sink.

"What are-," he began frustrated pulling his arm back.

"Can you just shut up," I seethed.
