Cierra immediately pulled me into a hug.

"I'm fine," I spat.

I pushed out of her embrace and went back to my hospital room to search for my regular clothes. The faster I got out of here the better.

Oddly enough the room had seemingly been converted into a bedroom. A bare queen size mattress was propped up against the now lilac walls. A couch now sat where my hospital bed once was and a wooden coffee table in place of my IV and monitor.

Did they actually think I was going to live here? I have parents who are going to worry where I am. Not to mention the fact that I was also looking forward to finishing high school. A knock at the door snapped me out of mental rant.

Maybe if I don't answer they'll go away.

"I know you're in there. I can see you for crying out loud!"

How can he see me? I turned around to see that, along with the furniture, a window had also been added to the room.

"What do you want?," I asked annoyed at this point.

"Well for starters, I'd like you to let me in the room so I don't have to yell"

I opened the door while sarcastically curtsying.

"Thank you"

"Oh it's you"

It was the lab jerk from before.

"Ouch," he said while he pretended to stagger back in pain as he clutched his heart.

I just rolled my eyes.

"What do you want? I'd like to leave as soon as  possible"

"Yeah that's just it. You see princess, you can't leave without an escort," he mocked as he patted my head.

"I don't need an escort," I rolled my eyes.

"Oh but you do princess. As the all great elemental and such, you do in fact need an escort"

His lips formed a smug smile that I oh so desperately wanted to smack off. I took an annoyed glance around the room and my eyes landed on my clothes. I scooped them up in one arm and pushed the jerk aside.

"Now princess-"

I spun around on my heel and my nose was just an inch away from his. I knew my eyes had changed by the familiar tingling sensation. He slightly squirmed under my glare. Good enough. I spun back around and left as I gave one last sneer.

Somehow I ended up in a garage of sorts while trying to find my way out. There were rows upon rows of heavy armored cars and vehicles from Hummers to Cadillacs. I wonder if they have motorcycles? I scanned around and walked down a few rows until I came across the most gorgeous bike I'd ever seen. It was an exact replica of the one from Batman.

"This thing is probably worth more than my life," I breathed in awe.

"You bet princess"

"You again?"

"Awe, no hug? No declaration of love? Come on, you know you want to," he winked.

"What do you want?," I rolled my eyes.

"To keep my job. Which is exactly why I'm following you home princess," he cooed as he ruffled my hair.

"You are not coming home with me. My mom is coming home today and she will have my ass if she sees I have a boy over," I protested.

"Oh," he quirked an eyebrow with a smug smile.

I rolled my eyes for hundredth time since we've met.

"Oh come on. I'm gorgeous and you know it princess"

"If I agree-"

"There was never a choice. I have the keys princess," he waved them mockingly in my face.

Of course he has the keys.

"As I was saying. If I agree, will you stop calling me princess? It's not cute or amusing"

"Anything for you"

"Thank-"

"Princess," he winked as he strided toward the bike.

I let out a frustrated groan before I followed.

"Oh no, I'm driving," I stated as I snatched the keys from his hands.

"After you-"

"Don't say it"

"Sweet heart"

I ignored his stupidity and hopped on the bike. There were two helmets on a rack next to the bike. One was a matte black and the other was hot pink. A devilish grin spread across my face. I swiped the black helmet and handed him the pink one.

"Hell no"

I grinned harder.

"No. Not happening. I'd rather die than wear this"

"Oh is the poor baby upset. You know what they say; safety first," I winked.

"I'm not putting this on"

"Well I can't be caught with an unsafe passenger so either I leave you behind or...-"

"You wouldn't dare"

"Bet?," I challenged.

He reluctantly slid the helmet on.

"Pink is a good color on you princess. You should wear it more often. It really brings out your eyes," I winked.

His face contorted in disgust, but I was smiling like an idiot at the sight I was seeing. I kicked up the stand and twisted the throttle.

"Hold on tight"
