"Here's your steak miss," a waiter handed me my meal.

"Thank you," I spoke.

The wedding was pretty and of course very expensive looking, but I almost threw something when the vows began.
Don't get me wrong weddings are great and  all, but I have a low tolerance for all that mushy gushy stuff.

Especially when I know it's nothing but bullshit.

The food was good though.

"OOOOOKAAAAAAY! PAAAARTY PEOPLE! LETS START DANCING!," the DJ announced.

Everyone got up and migrated towards the dance floor in unison.
I remained in my seat waiting for the nightmare to be over.
Cyan was at the dance floor doing the whip with a couple of my cousins she'd met before at parties.

I guess I had started to zone out when I felt someone tug at a my elbow.

"Hmm? What?," I turned and looked up.

It was Taylor.

"Care to dance?," he asked grinning.

I forgot he'd be here. He dated my cousin.....um my cousin...my cousin.
Why can't I remember her name? I know it starts with an A. Whatever, I guess she invited him to the wedding before they broke up.

"Uh sure," I got up and he led me to the dance floor.

I couldn't help but think of Aden. I already missed him.

"You okay?," a voice interrupted my thoughts.

"What? Oh yeah I'm fine"

"You seem lost in thought," he laughed.

"Oh sorry," I chuckled.

"No, it's fine. You look really cute when you're deep in thought. You get this crease," he said as he lightly touched his finger tips to my forehead, "right here"

"Thanks, I guess," I could feel myself blush.

"You look really beautiful tonight. I mean you look beautiful every......day, but.....uh," he was stumbling over his words as he rubbed the back of his neck.

I wasn't going to lie, it was kind of cute.

"What? Why are you smiling like that?," he asked defensively.

"Nothing. You just look really cute when you're nervous," I laughed lightly.

"Thanks," he chuckled.

"So what brings you here?"

"Oh um I'm not gonna lie. I kind of just wanted to see you"

"I don't know what to say," I blushed.

"You don't have to say anything. I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that. I'm gonna leave," he turned to leave with a depressed expression etched on his face.

"Taylor wait," I said as I grabbed his arm.

I guess I grabbed his arm a little too hard because now we were nose to nose.

"Sorry I didn't mean to-"

I tensed when I felt his hand graze over my cheek and his arm bring me closer.
He just smirked before I felt his lips cover mine.
I stood rigid the entire time.
I didn't know what to do. I was in complete shock.
