What Cup?

When you lose you forget your wishes,
When they tell what you wanted you forget your promises,
When they say that you can do it you think of the consequences,
When you try you stop to get a look at the advantages,
You start to think that there is no point to winning,
When you stop for one second you start spinning,
You forget the price that you had seen sitting,
You forgot that you tried so hard to be fitting,
But when you get to a point life smacks you down,
It turns your smile from one day to a frown.
And when they try to remind you, you chose to forget,
You even try so hard to remove the set,
And you try so hard to erase the goals that you set,
What they say you try to ignore,
When they say you can be number one, you try for four,
You forget to dig deep down to your core,
You forget to remember the things that you chose to store,
You relax while you get down on the floor,
When you look at the time you get tired,
You forget everything that you said to get yourself fired,
Your spirit that's left is trying so hard to get you hired,
But you stop and look to the side,
You think that you did well if you have survived,
You start to believe that everything you said was lied,
You forget the days that you cried,
And your spirit will have soon died,
But someone shouts at you to not take shit for granted,
You promise to never be stranded,
You realise that you have a seed that you planted,
You get up again to try like hell for what you wanted,
You thank the saviour for his hit has landed,
You aim for that cup that you play for,
You never wait for that tour,
You wanted to be specially realized,
And so you try so hard to fight,
And you promise your demons that you will never lose sight,
You will never listen to what others say its right,
You get the spirit to get to a new height,
In your own way you reach the light,
Without wings you decide to take flight,
At the track you smile at your decisions,
You're so happy that you chose your own visions,
When they spoke you became the one who never listens,
And you get up when you have a collision,
And when they ask you what your cup is, you say it's your decision.
