DuffIt's been the best couple days of my life. I've been able to be exactly how I want to be around Taylor and it's perfect. Axl still isn't quite used to me macking on his sister but I'm sure he'll get used to it. It's Saturday, about a week off from Taylor's birthday.
We walk up the starts and to the door of Chelsea and Taylor's apartment. To our surprise, music is blasting from behind the door. The bass rattles against the frame. When Axl opens the door, we see about twenty girls all over the apartment, they don't notice us walk in.
"I'm in hell." Axl smiles looking around at the women.
"Where's TJ?" Steven wonders but I think he's more interested in blonde on the couch.
I see Chelsea but I don't see Taylor, Izzy point to Chelsea and we call her name over the Alice Cooper that's blaring out the stereo. The music dies and everyone looks back at us, Chelsea waves.
"Who's the guys?" One girl flirts.
"I don't think I'm ever seen so many guys wearing that much leather." Another says.
"Not true, we went to that Mötley Crüe concert last year." One corrects her.
"TJ's brother, her boyfriend, and their band. Axl, Duff, Izzy, Slash and Steven." Chelsea points us all out. "This is the team."
The soccer team, now that I think about it they are familiar.
"Speaking of which, where is she?" Axl wonders.
"Not home yet." One girl calls.
"Said she'd meet up with us later." Called another.
Everyone goes continues on with their conversations and we lost Steven and Axl to the hoard of soccer players. I'm standing awkwardly in the doorway with Slash and Izzy, hoping that Taylor comes home soon. I wouldn't mind it so much if Taylor was here and I could talk to her but being in mess of women just makes me uncomfortable now. Before Taylor I would've been in my glory but now being around this many girls makes me want to drink, they're all very loud and high pitched.
We start to bet on how long it's going to take Steven and Axl to strike out with all the girls on the team. A couple of them look like they have jock strap boyfriends so I'm also thinking that football players might try to hunt them down. Axl and Steven get shot down by girl after girl, they've made it about halfway through the team when the door opens again. Izzy who was leaning on it gets thrown into the wall. Taylor walks in the door and smiles at me.
"Hey." I say and I bend down to kiss her.
"Hey." She smiles and a couple of the girls howl.
"T, you've been hiding men from us." The one that is now sitting on Axl's lap calls, Taylor rolls her eyes.
"For good reason." She mutters under her breathe but I catch it and she winks at me. "You know they don't bite." Taylor comments on us standing back away from them all. "Well they don't bite hard, I should say."
I pull her into my side and kiss her forehead. Taylor wraps her arms around my torso and hugs me. I put my arm around her shoulders.
"Where were you anyways?" I wonder.
"I had homework, I knew I wasn't going to get it done if they were all here." Taylor smiles.
"You know what next week is?" I ask her and she smirks.
"The Ides of March, the day Caesar must beware of." Taylor jokes.
"You hade Shakespeare homework?" I smile and she nods. "It's your birthday in a week, remember what you promised me?"
