"This is fucking dumb." I mutter as Queenie pulls me into a dress shop.

"It may be dumb but Duff's mom wants a real wedding." She reminds me and I scowl.

It's February, Valentine's Day actually and everything is going  great. My mom is officially divorced from prick and is living in LA with Ruby. Ruby is going to school out here and loves it. Duff and the boys are on tour until December then they'll be back home for a while which makes me happy, I miss them.

We're already married and living together but Duff's mom still wants the big wedding in the church so we're still planning on having that in March. Almost everything is planned, the only thing missing is the dress.

We walk into this fancy dress store to see that my mom and Ruby and already there. Ruby is looking around awkwardly, she's definitely my sister. My mom sits on one of the couches and we sit beside her. Chelsea had set up this dress trying on session so we're just waiting on the person to show up.

Within five minutes of our arrival this little pretty blonde girl comes up to us. She smiles at us.

"Hi I'm Callie, I'll be helping you got today." Callie smiles. "Now who's getting married?" I roll my eyes.

"TJ, the read head that looks like she doesn't want to be here." Queenie points at me. "Technically they're already married but they never did the whole ceremony thing."

"Okay, so what kind of dress are you looking for?" Callie wonders and I shrug.

"I don't know a thing about dresses. I've never worn one." I say and she smiles.

"Come on back to the change rooms, I bet I can find something." Callie takes my hand leading me off.

She leads me to a room and tells me to put on the robe. I take off my jeans and jacket, I pull my shirt over my head and wrap myself in the white robe. I sit awkwardly on the bench when she opens up the door and steps inside, Callie sits down beside me.

"So tell me about you husband." She says and I smile at the thought.

"His name is Duff and he's the bass player from Guns N Roses." I say and she lights up.

"Really? I love them. How'd you meet?" Callie wonders.

"At the bar I was working at." I say. "And the singer is my brother."

"You two do look a lot alike now that I think about it." She says. "So you're a rockstar's wife, white dresses aren't your thing then."

"Dresses in general aren't my thing." I kinda laugh and so does she.

"I think I might have just the thing for you." Callie smiles before walking out of the changing room.

Ten minutes later the door opens again and Callie is dragging a dress bag behind her. She takes the dress from the bag. It's thin and white with black accents on it. I step into it and look in the mirror. I don't look bad and it reminds me of my engagement ring with the black jewels on it.

"That's what a rockstar's wife ought to look like." Callie smiles proud of herself and I smile.

"I love it." I admit. "Even if it is a dress."

"Should we go show your group?" She wonders.

"They'll be mad otherwise." I admit and she laughs.

We walk through the stone and up to my mom, my sister, and my Brit. They all smile upon seeing me. I step up onto the little pedestal and look at myself in the mirror again.

"Taylor, it's gorgeous." My mom smiles.

"TJ you look pretty." Ruby smiles brightly. "Duffy is gonna wanna kiss you so much!" I laugh.

"Duff is just gonna want you out of the dress." Chelsea laughs and my mom looks away awkwardly.

"If I'm going to get hitched, I'm gonna look like what I am." I half smile.

"A rocker's wife?" Queenie wonders and I put my finger on my nose.

"Ding ding ding." I smile. "I'll take it."

I get changed and I pay for the dress. We go to walk out of the store and I go to walk out to my car. My mom takes the dress from my hand, I look her a confused look.

"Duff shouldn't see the dress." Mom says and I scowl.

"Mama you know he isn't coming home until the wedding." I sigh. I wish he was.

"You never know, Taylor Bee. Stranger things have happened." Mom says and I roll my eyes.

I fucking wish.

I'm sitting on the couch in our house. Right after we got married, Duff had bought this huge house and hired movers to move all our shit in, I'm still not done unpacking. It's dark and late and the only light is the tv that is glowing with the demonic Plymouth Fury. I'm watching Christine.

I snuggle into Duff's Seahawks shirt. It smells like him. I miss him. I miss everyone but I really miss my Duff. They came down for Christmas and New Years and that was the last time I saw them. Maybe it's because it's Valentines Day.

I didn't realize thinking about how much I missed him was making me this sad. I start to cry.  Tears roll down my face and I stick out my tongue the salty sweet taste melts into my tastebuds. Why are tears salty anyways?

Just then the phone rings. I wipe my eyes and swallow my sadness. I answer the phone.

"Hello?" I ask.

"Hey Kitten." Duff's voice rings and I smile.

"Baby." I smile.

"Kitten what's wrong?" His voice is worried.

"Nothing." I lie.

"Kitten." Duff complains.

"Everything is fine." I assure him.

"Try again." He says and I sigh.

"I just miss you, that's all. I think it's because it's Valentines Day and everyone is being all couple-like." I admit and Duff kinda laughs.

"Good, open the front door. I'm waiting outside, come kiss me." Duff says and I drop the phone.

I run to the front door and throw it open. There stands my tall beautiful blond. Duff drops his suitcase and picks me up. I wrap my arms around his neck and press my lips on his, my legs go around his hips. Duff's hands run along my bare legs and I squirm again his cold hands.

"Happy Valentines Day, Kitten." Duff whispers before stepping inside.
