Twenty Four

{Luke}

"I don't wanna go.." I groan as Calum pouts. He wants me to go to a party with him.

"C'mon, I wanna introduce you." He says and I whine making him sigh.

"I want to see Halsey." I say and he bites his lip.

"You saw Halsey two hours ago." He says.

"I really don't want to Calum." I say and he pouts again making me sigh.

"Okay.. alright fine. But if I want to go home, I'm going home, got it?" I tell him and he smiles widely and nods.

"I love you." He says, hugging me.

"I love you too baby." I kiss his cheek.

I pull on a hoodie and slip on some vans. I really feel like this isn't a good idea, I'm more of an indoor person and I like quiet so it's gonna suck with the music louder than Calum and I in bed. I feel Calum take my hand when I realize I was just standing there and looking at the floor.

"Don't worry Lukey, I'll be with you the whole time, okay?" He smiles and I nod hesitantly.

He tugs me out of the apartment and locks the door before bringing me down. I hear music vibrating through the streets already. I instantly regret my decision of coming with Calum, but I'm sure that he'll take care of me. We soon enter the house and I'm already intimidated by the place.

"It's fine, we have a room." Calum tells me and pulls me upstairs. I see a whole bunch of people sitting in a circle and they all look up at me.

"Aw, is that Luke?" A girl asks and she stands up and walks to me.

"Luke, this is Jenna." Calum says and I give her a small smile.

"He's so cute." She says in a baby voice.

"Jen, he's not a baby." Calum says and wraps his arm around my waist.

"You're right. Sorry." Jenna smiles and sits down. Calum points at everyone and tells me who they are.

I decide to sit beside Calum and Jenna. I like Jenna. She's probably the only one who made me feel welcome. Everyone begins to talk and I instantly feel left out.

"You okay Luke?" Jenna asks and I give her a small smile and nod.

"Hey, wanna get some food or anything?" She asks, lightly placing her cold hand on mine.

"D-Depends, are they injected with alcohol?" I stutter nervously and she chuckles.

"Let's hope not. C'mon, let's grab some chips or something, how does that sound?" She asks and I smile and nod.

I stand up and Calum grabs my hand.

"Where are you going?" He asks.

"I'm getting food with Jen, is that okay?" I ask and Calum nods and lets go of me.

Jenna and I walk downstairs and I wish I'd stayed upstairs. It's complete chaos here, there's people dancing and chugging alcohol, playing games, doing drugs, everything. Jenna takes my wrist and pulls me over to the food table. She hands me a cookie and I take a small nibble off it.

"Hey it's fine Luke! This food doesn't have anything illegal in it!" She shouts to me and I grab chips too while Jenna grabs a whole bunch of food that I can't name. We go back upstairs and Calum's drinking making me slightly worried. I can tell he's already slightly drunk.

I sit beside him and he roughly swings his arm around my shoulders.

"I love you." Calum giggles and kisses my cheek.

"Aw, you guys are cute." I hear Jack say.

"He's drunk, he usually isn't like this." I chuckle and I feel Calum's lips press against my neck. I ruffle his hair and begin to eat my food.

Before I know it, everyone around me is drunk as hell and I'm feeling intimidated. We're playing truth or dare now and I decided to join because why not?

"JOSH!" Rian shouts and Josh looks over to him.

"Dare!" Josh shouts before Rian could ask.

"I dare you to.. take another two shots." He says and Josh takes the shot glass and downs it twice making everyone clap and I give a small smile and clap quietly.

"Calum, truth or dare!" Josh shouts and he looks away from me and to Josh.

"Dare." Calum smirks and I look over to him in fear.

"I dare you to punch Luke." He says and my eyes widen. I look over and Calum and he looks like he wants to. But I can tell his sober self is telling him not to. Calum's face twists.

"Fuck no, are you crazy?" He says and I feel relief wash over me.

"Alright fine, I dare you to.. kiss Jenna." Josh says and I don't feel jealous. I know that Calum won't feel anything. Calum shrugs and kisses my cheek before crawling over to Jenna. He gives her a kiss and crawls back over to me and wraps his arm around my shoulders.

"I didn't mean that okay?" Calum slurs into my ear and I nod.

"I'm too lazy to think one, I pick Tyler." He says and Tyler claps.

"Okay okay, Luke, truth or dare?" He asks and I don't wanna seem like a scaredy cat.

"Dare." I say and Tyler giggles and claps.

"I dare you to.. make out with Alex." Tyler says and I look over at Calum and he looks pretty annoyed. I go over to Alex and he leans his head over to mine and we kiss.

Alex instantly slips his tongue into my mouth and everyone 'ooh's' as we make out. Suddenly, Alex is torn away from me and my eyes widen when I see Calum punching Alex. Everyone starts shouting at Calum (including me) to stop. I pull Calum back and see Alex holding his face as Jack begins to shout at Calum.

Calum begins swearing back at Jack and I shout at him as I try pull him away.

"CALUM!" I shout and he spins around and raises his hand up. My eyes widen and I feel a pain across my cheek as I fall to the ground.

"CALUM WHAT THE FUCK?!" Jenna shouts and I hold my cheek as tears form at my eyes at the stinging pain.

"Shit.. Luke.." Calum says and Jenna helps me up. I walk out the door and I don't even care if he's following me of not.
