I woke up to the sound of a monitor beeping rapidly and tiny whispers. My eyes were too lazy to even dare to open so I stayed like this and began to listen to the whispers." When will she wake up?" I heard a tiny voice say." I don't know sweetheart." I heard anther voice say." Mom I'm tired...." The little voice said." Right it's your nap time let's get you home." The other voice said. I heard the door gently close and it was silent again. I felt like another person was here but they would have had to open the door to get in and I would have heard..... Also where I am? I began to to fidget around untill I had enough energy to open my eyes. When I did I saw white walls and and just white everywhere. I began to sit up but a hand stopped me. I was confused wasn't it just me in here?" I looked over to see him sitting in a chair wearing nerd glasses." Where the frick am I ?" I whisper yelled because my voice was giving out." Settle down Astrid your in the hospital you passed out.." He said slowly." What....? Are the horses okay?" I said confused and angered." Yes but your foal has passed away." He said while looking down at the ground." What ... No.... Why.... Like..... No." My voice faded." That was the last foal Stormfly ever gave birth too!!!" I yelled." I'm sorry there was nothing the vet could do the burns were to bad." He said this time standing up." Why !!" I began to cry ." I'm sorry... Your mom is coming to pick you up in an hour." He said gently then left." No... Why I didn't even pick a name yet I wanted it to be special that's why I took so long to figure it out. It was going to be Midnight Flight for short midnight, she was going to be a kids Stormfly. Everyone deserves a stormfly. I laid there crying for hours it stemmed like. My mom walked in and she let one tear escape her eye before Coming and sitting down to give one of her famous mom hugs." Why..." I managed to sob into her shoulder." She was just so young and she didn't have enough fighting in her." My mom whispered.
