@troyesivan: my mixtape is fire ain't it

connor's pov.

"Hold on I just got a text. Can you read it to me please?"

He shot me a side smirk as he picked up my phone and read the text I received aloud,

"From Troye Boy, my mixtape is fire ain't it?"

I laughed a little harder than I should've before answering this so called text.

"Yes Troye your mixtape is fire, but might I ask why you are texting me while we are sitting next to each other? Are you unable to use your words Troye Boy?"

"Since I am anti-social it is just better for me to text instead of talk in case I jumble up my words."

He has adapted better to texting then actually talking with his mouth which doesn't surprise me at all. Troye practically lives on the internet, specifically tumblr.

The rest of the drive included little talking, much singing, and many complaints from a certain Troye continuously asking "Are we there yet?" knowing damn well it would piss me off. His music taste was very exotic and the farthest thing from mainstream. I had known many of the artists he had played including Oh Wonder, SOAK, Halsey, Broods, etc. Guess that means I am one with the music.

Oh and his voice. Outstanding. Very raw with a tint of rasp. The fact he could sing like jesus made him 10x more attractive. But I am straight so I gotta stay in my lane.

Along the way we had stopped for food multiple times at Chipotle, McDonalds, and practically every other fast food restaurant that exists.

One more hour Connor. Till you can show him your apartment. Your living room. Your kitchen, and the aesthetic tree covered in leftover fairy lights from Christmas last year that sits in the corner, going unwatered for weeks on end. In fact it's probably dead already. One more hour till you can show him the room he will be staying in for however long he needs. One more hour till you can show him your bedroom, in the most platonic way possible.

"Are we there yet Con?"

"One more hour Troye Boy. One more hour."
