Twenty Eight - Forgive

POV; Nash

"Sammy, what happened to you while you were gone?" I ask right away.

I'm sitting with Cam on the couch and Sammy is sitting across from us on the other couch.

"A lot but I just want you guys to know how sorry I am. For everything, I swear if I could take it back I would." He says.

I look at Cam.

He looks a bit confused and sad.

I don't know if I really believe Sammy though. He's always been one to be able to mess with people's heads.

"I forgive you." Cam says.

I'm taken aback. By the look on Sammy's face he is too.

"I know you well enough to know when something really is wrong. All the years I've known you I have never seen you look so, broken and hurt." Cam explains.

"I forgive you too Sammy." I say giving him a small smile.

Sammy then bursts out into tears.

"T-thank you, you guys are the only people who have f-forgiven me." He sobs.

"If you ever need anything we're here for you." Cam says.

"Yeah totally. If you ever need anything or if you are feeling depressed don't hesitate to call." I tell him.

Cam and I move over to him and hug him.

I know it seems we are being a little too forgiving but we really truly have never ever seen him cry or be so open with his feelings.

POV; Matt

*one month later*

I follow Nash into the apartment.

Cameron is sitting at the table with some guy.

"Hey babe." Nash says placing a kiss on Cam's cheek.

"Hey Nash." Cam says smiling.

"Hey Carter." Nash say waving to the boy sitting with Cam.

"Sup Nash." Carter says looking up from his work.

Holy fuck.

He's hot as hell.

He looks at me and smiles.

I realize I'm staring and quickly look away.

Nash walks back to me and we head to the second bedroom.

"Who was that?" I ask once he closes the door.

"Who?" Nash ask confused.

"Cam's friend."

"Oh, that's rice boy, aka Carter." Nash laughs.

"He's hot."

"Aw, Matty has a crush." Nash gushes in a baby voice.

"Whatever." I roll my eyes.

"You know, I could totally set you guys up. I'll have Cam invite him to hang out out and I'll invite you but really it'll be a double date." He explains.

"Sounds good to me." I smile.

POV; Cameron

"How is it you are the only one who can get him to fall asleep so quickly?" Sierra asks me as I gently rock Bentley, her 7 month old baby boy.

"I don't know, it's a gift." I smile at her.

"Shut up." She laughs.

I put Bentley in his crib and walk downstairs with Sierra.

"So how's Nash been?" She asks.

"He's good he's defiantly better."

"Good, how are you?"

"I'm ok, but there's something I need help with." I tell her nervously.

"What is it?"

"I got offered a scholarship to Notre Dame." I breath out.

"Cam, that's amazing!" She says excitedly.

"Yeah it is, I really wanna go but," I trail off.

"You're worried about Nash." Sierra finishes.

"Precisely."

"Well, just tell him. I'm sure he'll understand."

"You're right, we love each other. What could go wrong?" I agree.

POV; Nash

"What are you going to say?" I ask quietly.

"I don't know. It's an amazing opportunity, but I don't wanna leave you baby." Cam explains.

Notre Dame. It's far.

Too far. But I don't want Cameron to abandon his dreams because of me, I wouldn't be able to live with it.

Then again, I can't live without him.

"I can't tell you what to do but I can tell you this, don't give up your dreams because of me." I tell him sadly.

"That's the thing, yes Notre Dame is amazing and I've always wanted to go but you, you are more than I could ever dream of. I just don't want to loose you baby." He says on the verge of tears.

It's then I realize I'm crying already.

"I believe in us. I believe we can make it though this Cam." I tell him honestly.

"I do too, I do too." He says pulling me into a hug.
