"Elisa wake up your going to be late for school," my mom yelled, and I jolted upwards and groaned. I got up and got dressed and walked down the stairs and into the kitchen. I looked in the fridge and pulled out some tuna and bread and I made a tuna sandwich. I got a apple, honey bun, rolled up meat, and some orange juice.
I put it all in my lunch bag put my lunch bag in my bag and headed out the door to see the bus waiting. As I don't have a car I have to use the bus. I walked up to it and whent onto the bus, I walked down the hall looking for an empty seet. I found one and sat down, not really caring who's seet it is.
Not long after the bus arrived at the school. We unloaded and whent inside, now where is he classroom I thought looking around. All of a sudden a dark skinned girl with black hair walked up to me.
"You new?" She asked me, I nodded. "My name is Maya." She said holding out her hand.
"My name is Elisa," I said shaking her hand.
"We better get to class," she said and started to walk to class, I followed.

Class was long but the lunch bell finally rang. I got my lunch and was about to sit alone when Maya walkes up to me again with her friend.
"Hey, this is Daniel and Ralph," she said looking at Ralph Daniel. Daniel was glaring at Ralph. "You whant to sit with us? You now cause you don't know eny buddy." I ges I need to get to now some people I thought.
"Sher, thanks guys," I said. We walked out side and sat down at a picnic table. I opened my lunch bag and took a bite of my tuna sandwich. Delicious tast washed over me and I smiled.
"You like meat," she asked smiling, I nodded then smiled. "So where did you use to live?" I swallowed my tuna sandwich.
"I used to live in Ontario outside Huntsville in Newhome," I said and I remembered the bush at my grandparent's and I stared into the bush in front of me. All I wanted to do is run through the bush and skip school. "I used to live right beside my grandparents."
"I'm guessing that you like the bush?" Maya asked smiling. I smiled back.
"I love the bush my grandparents have lots of property and I like to run through the bush hearing the snap of twigs under my feet. And I like to stop and look at the animals running around," I said.
"You must like it hear with bush every direction you go?," she asked me.
"Ya I love it hear, as soon as I got unpacked I whent for a walk in the bush and I kinda incountered a male cougar," I said. Daniel and maya had a worried look there faces.
"Are you okay? Did you get hert," she said worried.
"No he just walked up to me he seemed to like me," I said with a shrug. Maya and Daniel looked surprised, but Ralph looked very interested.
"Hey I look after wounded animals, do you want to come over and look at them?" She asked.
"I would love to," I said.
"This is out of nowhere, but do you have a birthmark?" He asked. What the heck I thought.
"Um.. no," I said.
"Hm," Ralph said quietly. Every one was quite for the rest of lunch and the rest of school pased pretty quickly.
I was waiting outside with Maya and Daniel, Ralph had to go home early.
"How about you come to my house with me and Daniel," Maya said. I got out my iPhone 6 it has a Warriors case its awesome! "You like Warriors I'm guessing?"
"No I LOVE Warriors," I said grinning. "Im gust going to text my mom." I started texting
Me: Hey dad im going over to my new friends house.
Dad: good for you making new friends
Me: DAD!
Dad: Ok Ok love ya
"My dad said it's alright," I said, and we piled into Daniel's old truck. Maya's house was on the other side of town, her dad is also the park ranger. It didn't take long to get to Maya's house, David pulled up to the driveway, her house was pretty nice.
"The animals are out back," she said and we followed her through into the back yard. Thare was a bobcat sunning itself on the deck. It must of saw us because he got up and walked over to us. "Watch out he's not so friendly to strangers," she warned me.
But to their surprise he walked up to me and rubbed against my legs. I bent down and stroked his head and scratched his ears and the truffles on the side of his head. He purred and dropped onto his belly and rolled onto his back and I petted his belly.
"Thats wired," she murmured, I just shrugged. "Eney, way lets go see the animals." I got up and followed Maya and Daniel into a pretty big shed, a aroma of smells hit my nose. The shed housed one snake, two fledglings, and a marten.
We started with the snake jumping a couple of live slugs into the case. After the snake, we fed the fledglings again she dropped the food in using gloves.
"This guy looks ready to go soon too," daniel said a secured into the marten cage, nose wiggling. When she saw her watching she then started racing laps as she waited for food. Daniel laughed. "
Someones definitely feeling better."
"Thats not-" she said peeling off the gloves. "That's not possible. It should take days before she even walking."
"You're just too good a nurse. You need to go visit your grandma. And let your dad and me take over slow things down," Daniel suggested. "Obviously she wasn't as badly hurt as you thought. Hate to break it to you Maya but you can be wrong."
"Look at the cut! There's just a pale star by the time you brought her she shouldn't you still be awake?" I asked.
"You're right," she said and reached her bare hand into the cage.
"Um, Maya," Daniel said. "Gloves? Those teeth and claws are like needles. You're the one always telling me to be careful." It was it she didn't hear what he said because she kept moving her hand and the marten didn't even flinch. She touched the wounded. flank. Suddenly she stumbled back.
"Maya!" me and Daniel yelled and then she fainted.
