Class was done and I climbed into David's truck. I told him about what Ralph said. "You aren't mad at me for telling him are you?" I asked.
"No I'm not mad I'm just surprised," he said. "Other people like us, but not like us." I nodded in agreement.
"Maya alsow knows, Eco (if you don't remember my cat) said that we should show her. Thare something special about her," I said. "Ar you mad at me?"
"No I'm not mad. I agree, thare something special about her," he said.
We soon pulled up into my driveway and I got out and thanked him. He waved as he drove away. I walked in and took off my shoes and whent upstairs into my room and I put on my clothes for the party. I looke myself in the mirror, I have blond hair and blue eyes. I'm not exactly skinny either. I shrugged and did my hair. I herd David's truck pull in and I rushed downstairs. I opened the door, David was standing there. Looking like he was about to ring the door bell. He was waring a button up shirt and shorts.
"Hi," he said greeting me.
"Hi," I said. I turned my head and saw dad watching TV in the living room. "We are going to the party now." I grabbed his, grabed the present and pulled him out the door not wanting to draw attention to ourselves.
"Wate," dad called, I groaned and we turned around and walked inside. Dad had turned off the TV and hade walked over to us. He looked at David suspiciously. "Hello."
"Hello sir. Don't worry about your daughter, we'll be careful," David said. I think I saw dad flinched.
"Hi, you cane go juzt be careful," dad said. I looked at my watch, it was almost time to go. We have have to get going or we will be late I thought.
"Sorry, but we had better get going know," I said pointing out. Dad nodded and I dragged David out the door. We got in the truck and I looked at the door. I waved at dad, as we drove away.
We parked at the side of the road at Daniel's house. I grabed Maya's present and we walked to the front door. I rang the door bell, when no one answered I opend the door and walked in. All of the lights were off and it was kinda dark. I put Maya's gift on the table with the rest of them.
"Are we at the right house?" I asked him.
"Daniel said something about to fallow the papayas," he said kinda confused. As if on quew I saw a papaya, then a nother leading to the backyard. I shrugged and fallowed them. Thay soon led to a trail that led deep into the bush. We fallowed the papayas...
Soon we reached a cliff with lots of cracks, and a harness hanging from the top. Daniel was thare and he walked up to us.
"Hey, I'm glad you could finally come," he said. "Sorry for the confusion. Hey could you hid in the bushes until Maya come. The rest of the people are hiding to." He pointed to the bushes on the right, we nodded. We walked over thare and hid behind the bushes. After a while I herd foot steps and I peered through the bush. Maya was thare, I looked around to see that more kids where appearing from the bushes, we walked out. Maya had a smile on her face as she looked at the rock wall...
Soon after the party I was in David's truck, he was driving me home. At Mayas party all ofthe boys competed against Maya up the rock wall, if one of the boys win that boy gets a kiss from her. None of them got a kiss. Then at the house you go off with your partner to a quiet place. Maya whent off with Ralph onto the roof. It turnes out that someone dosed Maya's coak. Every one thought it was Ralph.
"I can't believe Ralph would do that to Maya," David spat, keeping his eyes on the road.
"We don't know who it was," I reminded him.
"I ges," he said shrugging.
"The party was fun," I said. We soon got to the house and we got out he walked over to me.
"Good night," he said and kissed me. I smiled.
"Good night," I said. He walked back into his truck and waved good bye I waved goodbye and he drove to his house. I walked into the house and took off my shoes. I saw dad sitting in the living room reading a book. He loooked up.
"How was the party?" He asked me.
"It was fun, I'm going to go to bed, I'm tired," I said, he nodded. I yawned and walked up to my room. I put on my pajamas, brushed my teeth and whent to bed and drifted to sleep...
