The Forbidden Key

Kari gasped and felt her world collapse, "W-What?"

"I want to break my contract with you," Aria said more clearly and with slight anger. Kari flinched and pulled out Aria's key.

"Why?"

Aria cleared her throat trying not to sound like she was lying, although she was on the verge of tears, "You're not strong enough to use my key" 

Kari's eyes widen, "What!" 

"You don't have enough power" Aria repeated.

 Kari's fist shook and her eyes watered, "How can you say that," she cried out bitterly, "How Aria! Tell me I don't understand!" 

"Don't you see Kari!" Aria exclaimed "If a serious problem happens again and you try to summon me you can collapse of lack of power and energy. Power and energy are equal, you must have both to do magic if your almost dead and try to summon me" Aria gritted her teeth and turned away "I might be the end you"

She heard nothing from Kari and didn't want to turn and see her eyes. Aria felt the tears trying to squeeze out her eyes. 

"Take it" Kari suddenly said. Aria slowly turned, Kari tossed Aria her key.

 When Aria caught it Kari faced away, her head lowered, "I Kari Lumos break my contract with Aria, the sky guardian" 

The chain which is always on Aria's left arm disappeared, Aria blinked. 

"Why should a weak Mage like me hold you back, huh?" Kari said with a sad smile tears streaming from her eyes. 

Aria bit her lip, Kari wasn't weak, but Kari could really die trying to summon her. She would be banned from the celestial world...banned... She looked at Kari. Kari sucked in a sob and took off running past Aria. Aria felt strands of her hair sway as Kari rushed past.

"Sorry, Kari" Aria said meekly, gripping the key. 

I really am cruel. I've messed up... The thoughts replayed on Aria's mind. She stood in the celestial world looking up at the sky.
Banned eh, she thought with a chuckle. Aria suddenly stood up and teleported to earth.

"Aria the sky guardian is hereby banned from returning to the celestial world," she announced. Her key appearing before her and glowed. She pushed it away and caused it to disappear, "The others know what to do..."
