Years Later-

The woman looked out her window remembering what had happened on this day years ago. She pulled out the key of Nikki. Yup. This woman was Kari, around the age of 40 the situation happened roughly 20 years ago. She ran a finger against the key.

"Mommy!" A little girl wailed. Kari turned around and saw her daughter, Siena, and her brother Zack."He doesn't give me my doll!"

"You're too old for dolls!" Her brother retorted. Kari smiled and stood "Now kids, remember what I said. If you want to get kindness you have to give it first,"

Kari looked up, Aria had said that after there first battle. "You guys want cookies?" she asked her kids walking into the house.

"Yeah!" They chorused following their mother.

Aria*

Aria sat in her human form in a smoothie place. Her silver hair was brown and eyes just blue. She drank her smoothie in peace when someone suddenly walked into the shop. She turned her gaze towards the door and saw Leo and the celestial Mage Lucy. Aria lowered her gaze as the two walked up to her.

"Hello," Lucy said. Aria raised her gaze towards the mage, "Hi," she slowly greeted back.

"May we sit?" Aria nodded. Lucy and Leo sat down.

"Why Leo?" Aria asked.

Leo sighed "You need to go back. I can feel your magic lowering. You can't make it"

Aria gut flared, she looked at Leo sharply "It isn't up to you to figure out how much my power can hold"

"Don't take it personally Aria, Leo is just worried. I'm sure you have lots of power but-"

"What's your point?" Aria asked. Lucy gulped "I wish to help you Aria"

"Thanks but no thanks," Aria said bluntly standing up.

"Wait!" Lucy called out grabbing Aria's sleeve. Aria looked at the mage's eyes, why was the mage so adamant on this? She didn't even deserve this mage's kindness. Aria sighed and sat down.

"Lucy. You mean good I feel it, but... My key is hidden"

"Huh?"

"Unlike most spirits, I banned myself from the celestial world. I sent someone to hide my key. I told this person, hide the key and it doesn't matter if I go get it, but to make it hard to get... It's a pointless effort" Aria explained, her mind replaying that night.

"Your one of the guardians and a spirit. Shouldn't it be...you know easy" Lucy said.

Aria raised a brow, Lucy waved her hands frantically "I mean, your strong and a guardian! I - I just think-"

"Lucy, we do have limits," Aria said sighing, "But I know you mean good"

"At least give us a chance to help you!" Lucy gasped suddenly. Aria blinked and looked at Lucy confused.

"My friends and I can help you...let us help you"

"Help me? You want to-"

"Please!" Lucy pleaded. Aria's eyes shifted to Leo who smiled proudly towards Lucy. Lucy had a hopeful gaze.

Aria let out a sigh, "If it's really your wish...Lucy Heartfilia do you wish to take upon the quest of searching the forbidden key of the sky guardian" Aria said extending her hand towards Lucy. Lucy nodded and grabbed her hand, shaking it.

Silver streaks appeared in Aria's brown hair and her eyes shifted to there normal colors. On Aria's, collar bone appeared her sign. A necklace appeared on Lucy with a star.

"Then you have my backup, Miss Heartfilia" Aria smiled.
