Thirty Three

Aria stood in front of the yard of a small house. She slowly opened the outside gate, pushing it gently. She heard the scrambling of feet and saw two kids run outside. 

"Get back in here you two!" A woman exclaimed running after the kids. The kids stopped immediately and stared at Aria, the woman stood still her eyes glued on Aria. 

Aria looked down, "Sorry to intrude but I was looking for Kari, Kari Lumos" looking up Aria saw the woman with wide eyes. 

"A-Aria.." 

Aria felt tears stream down her cheek shaking slightly, "Kari....I'm sorry!" 

"wh-" the woman began.

"I'm sorry for leaving you like that all those years ago. For saying things that weren't right. I'm so sorry!" 

"I'm sorry dear...Kari isn't here anymore..." 

Aria's eyes widened as the woman kept talking, "She left her children to stay with me. She was on a mission you see she's a former wizard and she's looking for someone"

"How did you know my name?"

"Kari herself told me about you... She was right saying you would come every day since she returned that day long ago. But uh...she had an accident..." 

"Please tell me where she is"

Aria ran down the streets of the town. The woman told Kari fell ill during the mission and told the woman to protect her children, and if a young lady with silver hair arrived to inform her what happened. Aria barged into the infirmary. Looking around she ran up the steps into a room where a woman laid still. 

"K-Kari..." The woman's eyes fluttered open "Aria...hello" 

"Kari I'm sorry, your strong your brave I'm weak I couldn't control myself you... you... You man a lot to me I'm such an idiot"

"Aria come here it's okay" 

Aria ran to Kari hugging her, "I forgave you already Aria"

"I was also an idiot" Aria heard Stella. Turning around she saw the younger girl crying. Standing up she looked at Stella, Stella ran into Aria hugging her, "Please forgive me.." 

Aria stood with wide eyes before hugging her back "Of course"
Aria hugged Kari and Stella, her body started to glow and dissolve. Stella returned and joined Fairy Tail. Kari passed on a few days after Aria left.

Natsu raced towards the guildhall, ready for a new adventure. He smiled as the breeze blew past him. Suddenly something made him want to stop. 

Aria smiled at Natsu "Thank you.." Natsu's ears twitched and she turned to see a sparkling gold light fade away. He smiled turning back with a gentle smile. 

"Of course," he said into the air. 

Lucy looked at the sky. She heard someone clear her throat, she spun around and saw Aria. Lucy ran forward tightly her hugging her, "Thank you, Lucy, for all..." Aria said. 
Lucy's eyes widened as Aria dissolved into golden light, in her arms. Yet it didn't bring her painful sadness.

"No problem Aria" she assured, her tears reflecting the lights off her eyes. Standing alone the stars shine brightly that night. 

So the story didn't end like I really was hoping for but I mean I tried... And failed so thank you to everyone who voted and read my story. It really helped and sorry for sort of getting confusing at one point of the story and sort of rushing through it all at the end but ta da! So thanks to you all!

- I really wanted the ending to be different, more emotional, but like I had no idea how to do so. I also moved around the last sentences around. But yeah. That's the end.
