The Letter

Jessica's P.O.V

Bing! I heard my phone go off. I reached for it on my dresser and belly flopped onto my bed. I typed in my four digit password and opened up messages.

Grayson: Hey how was ur flight??

I smiled and texted him back.

Me: Pretty good!! I got the window seat
Grayson: Oooooo those are the bomb diggity.
Me: Ohhh yes
Grayosn: When r u going back to Cali??
Me: Idk yet actually.
Grayson: Oh okay. I just wanted to see if we could hangout again. Ur really fun

I blushed at that. This kid was so cute. I flipped to my back and replied.

Me: Haha thanks...?☺
Me: Ur really funny and I need to get to know u more so we should definitely hangout next time.
Grayson: YAY! Cool. Thank ya
Me: *rolls eyes*
Grayson: ☺
Me: Wait when r u going to Cali next?!? Maybe I could book a flight when you go.
Grayson: Well me and Ethan usually go every 2-3 weeks. So I'll make sure to text ya when we know.
Me: Okay coolio

I set down my phone and went to my suitcase. Time to unpack. The worst part of going away.

I put my suitcase on the bed and unzipped it. There was a note. I never remembered placing one here.

I picked up the folded paper and opened it. Inside the folded paper was a second folded paper.

I took a look at the unfolded piece.
It read:

Hey Jess. U probably just opened ur suitcase and saw a random wadded up piece of paper and now ur reading it. Well this note was sent to me from a fan and it had some things to do with you and I thought you'd like to read it. So here ya go. And don't worry I have another copy at my hoouse. PLEASE READ IT! And this is Jake btw hope u had a great flight home(:

Okay. I thought to myself. That's a little odd. He doesn't usually do this kind of stuff but I guess it must be pretty important.

I grabbed the other folded paper and opened it up to see it was a print out of an email.

In the subject box it said, "PLEASE READ JAKE."

I started to read,

Jake Paul,

Hello. I am the mother of a girl named Aria Castenaro. She had anorexia and then committed suicide do to bullying. You helped her through so much.

Everyday 24/7 was always Jake Paul this. Jake Paul that. You were her favorite. She looked up to and you were what kept her going.

She was also a huge fan of Jessica Marie. You and her were Aria's favorite and what got her through most of her hard times.

The start of all this was through bullying. She was bullied everyday. It started in about 4th grade which is very young. They called her all sorts of names.

It got worse as she got into 6th grade. She would come home crying or with a blank face on. But that was before you vine was invented.

She was always struggling to keep her grades up and trying to stay strong through the bullying and I didn't even notice until her 6th grade year when she started wearing thousands of bracelets to cover up her cuts. I made her show them to me and she cried and cried and cried and I got her help.

She went to therapy for a year, 2 days a week and it helped. Aria went to the school councilor every other day and also had go get a check up by the doctor whenever her thearipst thought she needed it.
