Chapter 14

Recap: [Professor Dumbledore] takes off and leaves me in the office to think to myself.
I walk back to the dorm and fall asleep on my bed without even taking my shoes off first.

*****Addie's POV*****

Mione wakes me up in the morning claiming that I should go to breakfast before we have to go to another flying lesson. I groan.

"Do I have to Mione?"

"You don't, but you're going to get hungry."

I groan again. "Fine. Just let me get ready first."

"Okay. I'll meet you in the common room in 10 minutes."

"Oh wait Mione!" I call out to her. She turns around. "Where's Rora?"

"She went to breakfast with Fred and George I think."

"Okay. Thanks!"

"No problem."

I go into the bathroom and take a shower. The water feels so good on my skin that I decide to just stay in there. "Addie!!!! Hurry up!! It's been 20 minutes!"

Really?! "Sorry Mione. I'll get out soon."

"Better be soon. Harry is about ready to murder me cause I said 10 minutes and you've been in there for 20."

I blush. Why would he care?

"Okay. I'll come soon."

I get out of the shower and dry myself by magic (of course) and get into the school uniform. I dry my hair (by magic again) and braid it in a halo thing on top of my head. It actually looks pretty good.

I put on a light layer of mascara and walk out of the bathroom and into the common room.

"Finally," Mione groans. "You took ages."

Rora comes into the common room.

"Sorry Mione. The water felt good." I shrug. She laughs.

"That's your excuse?! The water felt good?! Wowwwww. And I thought you were better than that," Rora laughs.

"Geez. I'm sorry," I defend throwing my hands up.

"Oh ya and Harry wasn't threatening to murder me. I just said that to make you hurry up."

"Mione!" I whine.

They just laugh and Harry says, "Want to go to breakfast?"

"I just came back from there dumbo. I don't need to eat any more."

Harry and Ron roll their eyes. "I know that. I wasn't asking you," Harry says.

"Hey! Meanie beanie." She pretends to pout and the smiles and says "I'll come anyways."

"You guys can meet my friends in other houses and Ron don't say that I can't have friends in other houses or that Slytherins are mean cause not all of them are."

He rolls his eyes. "But they are."

"No they aren't," Mione says. "We met Avery and Melissa. They are super nice."

"See Ron. Thanks Mione."

"Let's go down."

The five of us walk down to the great hall. Mione pulls out her schedule. "Looks like we have another flying lesson after breakfast."

"Oh goody. I like flying," Rora says.

I roll my eyes. "The last time you rode, you fell off and Mione had to save you."
