Chapter 17

*****Mione's POV*****

It's been about a week since Addie told me that Wood wanted her to get her own broom. I keep telling her to buy a broom, but she keeps stalling. The Gryffindor Quidditch team decided to throw Addie a surprise birthday party in the Room of Requirement. All of the Weasleys, Makenna, Luna, Melissa, Avery, Cedric, Rora, Tonks, Remus, Dumbledore, and I were invited. We decided that we would go early in the morning, and stay there overnight. Right now it's 5:45 in the morning and me and Rora in charge of waking her up and getting her to the Room. We are currently hovering over her bed about to wake her up.

I point to myself and Rora nods.

"WAKE UP ADDIE!!" I scream into her ear.

She jumps and almost hits my head. "Gosh Mione. I think I'm deaf now," she grumbles.

"CAN YOU HEAR ME?" Rora screams. I giggle.

"Yes?"

"THEN YOURE NOT DEAF!" we scream at the same time. We look at each other and burst out laughing. She looks at he clock that says it's 5:47.

"WHY IN THE WORLD DID YOU WAKE ME UP AT 5:47?" We were about to say that it's because it's her birthday, but we didn't have time before she said, "I'm going back to sleep. Wake me up at a reasonable time." She rolls over and closes her eyes.

"Hey Addie?" I ask.

"Yea. What?"

"I saw a broom cupboard on the seventh floor, but when I went back there I couldn't see it. Do you know why?"

"Yea. Let me sleep though. I'll talk about it when I'm awake enough."

"Come onnnnnn. I want to see it," Rora says. "I haven't seen it yet."

"How about at a more reasonable time?"

"No! I want to see it now," she says like a stubborn person. "Please?"

"No."

"Pretty please?"

"No. I told you already. We'll go when I'm actually awake."

"Fine," she says, but we both won't stand for this. We rush to the Room of Requirement, and knock.

Tonks opens the door. She looks around. "Where's Addie?" she whispers.

"She won't wake up, come help us," I whine.

"Okay." We start to walk back to the dormitories. "You two were trusted with one job and that was to bring Addie to the Room of Requirement, and you can't even do that." She laughs. "I've never been to the Gryffindor Common Room before. What's it like?"

"Red and gold," we answer at the same time.

She laughs. "I figured that. Anyways I'll be in your guys' dorms on Sunday nights."

"Why?"

"Cause I don't want to be coming on a Monday morning in time for first hour classes. I teach Addie how to control her Metamorphageous powers first hour."

"Oh." We get to the common room and I tell the Fat Lady the password. We walk up into our dorm and Tonks slowly shakes Addie.

"I told you, wake me up at a more reasonable time."

"Come on Addie," Tonks says.

She bolts up. "TONKS!!!" She gets out of bed and hugs Tonks. "Happy Birthday kiddo!"

"It's my birthday?" Addie seems to think about it. "Oh," she shrugs. "I guess it is."

"Come on. Rora wants to see the broom cupboard on the seventh floor," I say. "Come with?" I ask Tonks with a wink. She understands.
