Chapter 19: Rebecca

I started walking back to the house to apologize. I couldn't stay with Andy. I'm so sorry Andy but I just can't take it anymore. I sure everyone will not understand but oh well. If Andy moved on before, he can do it again. I'll always see Andy, we'll be family. 

Thinking about being a family with Andy made my stomach hurt a bit. Not that I wouldn't want to be known as Andy's step-sister, it's.... complicated. I needed to move on. 

I looked over my shoulder and saw CC driving his red 2000 Mustang GT. I stopped walking and he caught up next to me. "Need a ride?" He shouted from the inside of his car. I nodded. "Well hop on in." I smiled and did as I was told. 

I got into the car and it was silent, too silent. "So what are you doing all the way over here?" CC asked me. "Ya know, just walking." He nodded. "What are you doing here?" I shot at him.

He looked a bit hesitant. "I uh... No reason, just roaming."He said looking like he just murdered someone. 

"Roaming? Hmmm. So where do you wanna go, I'm going back to the house. So lets do something." He nodded again, looking like he was thinking of where to go. "We should go to the Los Angeles Zoo." I got really excited. I hadn't been there since I was a baby. "Yes! Yes! Yes!" I started to freak out in the car. 

Let me remind you, this is a small sports car. Not much room for a 17 year old to jump and kick out of excitement. "Woah, calm yourself Becca." He chuckled. I laughed like a loser. "Only problem is that Andy is probably worried about you." CC added. He just had to say that. I wanted to get my mind off of him and everyone and have fun while I can.

"I guess, I don't want to think about it right now. I just want to have some fun." I paused. "Hey, I'll get to know you better too." I said with a huge smile. 

"True, true. I guess he wouldn't mind if I stole ya for the evening." He laughed, so did I. "I'm sure he won't mind." I assured him. To be honest, I know he would flip out if he found out.

He would flip out on CC like he did with Nixon. Now that was a night of complete diaster. 

I turned on the radio to break the silence. Of course the radio was shit, so I looked through his music cd's and I found Mötley Crüe, Kiss, Queen, and Pink Floyd.

Awesome music taste you got here CC. I laughed on the inside to myself. I put in the Queen cd and the first song came on was 'We Are The Champions'. 

This just seemed perfect. Driving to one of my favourite places on earth, listening to my favourite music, and with the only person so far that can really make me smile. This will be a good day, I can feel it.

As we drove up to the Zoo, I started to kick the dash board in extreme excitement. I swear once we get home, CC's car with have tons of dents in his car, but not on purpose. It's his fault for making me extremely happy. 

He parked the car somewhat far from the entrance. There was a couple walking passed us and the guy came up near me and rubbed my bum and turned around and winked. Like what the actual hell, you disguisting pig! "Hey keep your claws to yourself asshole!"

I screamed as he turned around and kissed his girlfriend. It's not going to last between them, I can just tell. 

"What happened B?" CC said as we were walking to the entrance. I just automatically started thinking of what CC called me. That's what Andy called me when we were out to dinner or if I was down. The thought made me sick to my stomach again, but this time it felt right when CC said it. Like it fit.

I saw CC snap his fingers in my face to get me out of the trance. "B? Ya there?" I shook my head back to reality. "Sorry CC, I was daydreaming. What did you ask?"

He rolled his eyes a bit, he new I heard him. "What did he do?" He said once again. "Well that disguisting pig touched me!" I didn't want to make it a scene, I just wanted to get my anger out. 

"WHAT!!" CC looked really pissed. He saw the guy that touched me and walked right up to him and tapped on his shoulder. The guy turned around and CC punched him right in the jar.

The guy was knocked out cold. "Never touch my girl again!" I heard him scream to the blank body. He walked back over to me and grabbed my arm and we walked to the entrance. 

He paid for the tickets and we skipped together to the elephants. Elephants were my favourite animal... ever. I did a project on them in 3rd grade and I felt connected to them. I told my mom that and she laughed at me saying I was ridiculous. Oh well. 

We watched as the baby elephant pranced around the enclosure. It was so adorable. Then I remembered something. CC said 'my girl' when he yelled at the guy. If I heard him right, then I'm guessing he liked me?

It was a weirdish thought. Me and CC together? Wasn't sure if I could picture us together. But then my gut was saying otherwise. 

I looked at him, he was a cutie, nice, and deffinetly was funny. He had such an amazing smile. A smile that couldn't be compared to Andy's. It was a happy smile, like he was on happy gas or something. Andy's was sexy and intriguing. 

He looked down at me and I looked away. He started to talk. "Hey B... I know this isn't a good time probably, but I've felt somethi-" All of a sudden my lips met his. I couldn't help the fact that CC was amazing, OK?

It was a soft kiss, a gentle caring one. One that you would want for your first kiss. That type of gentle. A loving one. You can tell a lot from one kiss. And from this kiss I truely felt in heaven, and I felt loved. I didn't have to second guess myself about that.

Then we parted, and I began to talk. "I-I'm sorry." He gently put his hands on cheeks and kissed me again. Still that gentle 'I love you and I never want this to end' type kiss. If Andy found out about this, he would kill CC.

Both of us knew it too, but neither of us cared.
