Chapter 5: Rebecca

Rebecca's P.O.V

I walked downstairs wishing Andy was with me. My mum was sitting at a table with my dad on the other side. "Mum? What's going on?" I sat in one of the seats next my dad. "Dad?" 

My dad was... crying? Ok what did my mom do this time? "Uh... Dad?" My mum started talking. "Sweetie this may be hard for you but me and your father are getting a divorce." I felt my heart stop. WHY! "WHAT?!? WHY?!?" My dad lifted his head and yelled...

"Beacuase your selfish mother had an affair! She slept with Andy's father and now she's PREGNANT!" I was shocked, why did she do this? 

"BEN! Stop it! Rebecca doesn't need to know!" She said firmly. What? Did my mum really just say that? "MUM! I have the right to know! Maybe I wanted to know!" I said with a burning passion. "Sweetie I'm sorry; you, your father and I are going to the court house tomorrow."

"What about the baby and me?" I yelled. "The baby is staying with me and Chris. We'll be moving in with him and Andy." Andy? "Why would Andy move?" My mum didn't want to answer... I could tell. "Mum?" Finally she cracked. "Well once the divorce goes I'm going to marry Chris, Andy's father." Wow my mum had a lot of nerve to say that in my dad's face. 

"Mum, I can't believe you had the nerve to say that! I mean marrying a man after divrocing one! That's messed up!" I saw my dad break down in tears again. Poor dad, I'll never be like mum, I promise you. "We are leaving tomorrow night, so pack what you want to take because we aren't coming back." 

Me and my dad got up and hugged. "You're sleeping on the couch Claire, don't bother me!" He went to his bedroom and locked the door. "Don't even ask to sleep in my bed mum, you're sleeping on the couch no matter what! I'm going to bed, I can't be near you right now."

I walked down the hall a little bit then said. "How could you sleep with the man I loves father?" Then I ran to my room and cried on my pillow to sleep.

DAMMMMN!! I was tearing up writing this lol *emotinal wreck much?* anywhore i'll be writing chapter 6 soon and once I'm done I'll update on hurr!! Hope you like the story so far!
