Chapter 13: I hate Malfoy

I walked to the Slytherin dormitories lost in thought thinking of my amazing time with Harry, Ron, and Hermione. All of a sudden I bump into someone, I mumble a "Watch it!" and keep walking.

"Hey it's me Anna!" said a familiar voice.

I look up and see Malfoy. "Where were you? We were going to do our Charms homework together!" He said annoyed.

"Oh yeah. I forgot, sorry about that." I say turning to go. But he stops me.

"You've been ditching me all day. What gives?"

"I've been with some friends." I say.

"What friends?" He asked.

"Hey, that's none of your concern." I answer.

"I know." He says.

"You know what?" I ask.

"You were with that Weasley boy. And Potter. And the mudblood. Nice friends for a pureblood Slytherin." He says smirking.

I had a sudden urge to punch him in the face. "Don't call her that!" I shout.

"Oh and you're going to stop me?" He laughs again. I punch him as hard as I can. Right in the nose and I drop my books right onto his feet. I don't wait to see his response. I storm off, my face hot, tears streaming down my cheek. I run into the Slytherin common room, not even caring that everyone stared at me, some even laughing and pointing.

"Shut up! All of you!" I mutter. I run into the girl's dormitories and flop onto my bed and pick up some homework to keep me from thinking about what just happened. It's amazing that the best day ever can quickly turn into the worst. I feel Emily, Jade, and Megan's eyes on me.

"What happened to you? You look pitiful." Megan asked.

"I really don't care. It's just Malfoy being an idiot." I mutter. They all laugh.

"How is that funny?" I ask shocked that they were laughing at me. Who did they think they were?!

"I can't believe you all!" I yell. I stand up and close the curtains on my bed. I lie there thinking how much I hate the Slytherins and how I could possibly even be one. After half an hour of sulking I fall asleep.
