Chapter 25: Freedom

Soon, day grew into night. I fell asleep dreaming I was back in Hogwarts, that everything was as it was before. I woke up thinking I was still there. Looking out the window, I realized I'd only slept for an hour or two, because it was still quite dark out. I couldn't sleep anymore, thinking about what had happened only hours before. I stood up and pounded on the door. "Anyone there?" I began to cry. I didn't want this, I just wanted to go home, to my mother. She would keep me safe. All of the sudden I heard voices.
"I think she's in here."
"How do we get in?"
"Alohamora!" I heard the lock click and in walked Harry and Ron. "Harry!" I ran and hugged him. "What am I? Rubbish?" asked Ron. I hugged him. Then they saw my Dark Mark. "It's not what it looks like!" I shout. "I was unconscious when they did it. You have to believe me. It was all so sudden..." "It's alright Anna. We believe you. But what happened to you?" Harry said. "It's a long story, but as you both know, I was invited to Malfoy's for Christmas. As soon as I got there I fought Voldemort and got knocked out. Then I got here, with a Dark Mark." I explained. "Now how did you get here?" I ask. "Don't you think it's a bit dangerous to come here, when you're kinda wanted by Voldemort?" "Well yeah, but we couldn't leave you here to die." Said Ron. "We got here on the Hogwarts Express with you and Malfoy." "Can we leave now? Today has creeped me out enough for a lifetime." I say. "Yes, of course." Said Harry. "Dumbledore is outside the door to apparate us back." We left the room and apparated back to Hogwarts with Dumbledore.
