The school year at Hogwarts was a blur of endless torture. Literally. Older students were told to use Crucio on first years for punishment. I wouldn't let Draco do it. It was heart breaking. Obviously I didn't do it myself either, and the Carrows punished me for it. It was better though, better than hurting innocent people. I wanted to be more like Neville, rebelling against the Death Eaters even though I was one. I wouldn't let that stand in my way. Then one day I saw him sneaking off with Dean and Seamus. I followed them, soon realizing they were heading to the Room of Requirement. Eventually they noticed me.
"Hey look!" Shouts Seamus.
"I want to talk to Neville." I say shyly.
"What is it Anna?" Neville asks curiously.
"I wish to join Dumbledore's Army. I... want to fight." I stutter.
"But she's a Death Eater!" Says Seamus eyeing my Dark Mark. Dean elbows him sharply. I blush a deep Crimson.
"I trust her." Neville says. "Harry's told me a lot about you." I run and hug him. I follow them to the Room of Requirement and find lots of hammocks hanging about the place. I plop down in a beanbag and ignore the eyes following my left arm. "Now let's practice the Patronus charm." Says Neville.
