THIS PICTURE IS SO PERFECT!
- - - -She laughed and we made our way to the breakfast nook to eat.
Dinner was fantastic. We ate chicken and rice. I finished it in no time. I gulped down my water and thanked her for the dinner.
She mumbled a "my pleasure," before we both excused ourselves to do other things.
On my way back to my room, I remembered that I promised my dad to Skype him before I went to bed.
I logged into my Skype account. Then I called my dad and he picked up on the fourth ring.
"Hey Hails! How's Canada so far?" He asked excitedly.
Just as I was going to answer, I made the mistake of looking up just as Shawn walks into his room, shirtless. His muscles looked toned and perfect. He had a six-pack as well. Don't even get me started on his Biceps. Oh gosh, those biceps..
I accidentally dropped a book, creating a loud thud. I gulped and he looked up at me and smirking. "Hey! Are you okay there? You look terrified."
I cleared my throat and ready to answer, however, my dad beat me. "Hails, whats going on? Who are you talking to?"
I sighed and explained to him that it was my neighbor — and potential new friend — Shawn Mendes.
He nodded and we talked for a bit longer until he ended the call, saying he was getting a bit sleepy. I waved goodbye and shut the laptop.
I got bored and decided to film a video for my YouTube account.
I chose to do a cover of "Bright" by Echosmith.
When I finished singing, I waved at the camera and stopped recording. I was about to return my guitar, when I heard clapping coming from outside my window. I almost fell off my bed.
I walked to the window and there was Shawn, thankfully clothed now. I forgot to shut my window. Too late now.
"Wow, Hailee. You're an amazing singer. We should do a cover together sometime." He smiled brightly.
I blushed realizing that an internet singer celebrity just complimented my singing.
"Um, thanks Shawn. And sure, I guess we could arrange something." I reply shyly tucking a loose strand of my hair behind my ear.
"I like your shirt," he said referring to my Harry Potter shirt.
"Oh, Thanks! My dad got me this for my birthday last year. Wait. You're a Harry Potter fan?" I asked.
"Wow, you really don't know me. I'm a huge Harry Potter fan."
"No way! I have a Harry Potter collection! I have all the books and movies, and a Hogwarts uniform costume, and a lot more stuff!" I said. way too enthusiastically.
"Sorry. I geeked out for a second there." I added sheepishly, making Shawn chuckle.
"I wanna see your collection tomorrow! And I think it's cute when you geek out."
I blushed a crimson red at the last part. "Oh shut up, Shawn." I mumbled.
"Aww! Are you blushing, Hailee? You look even cuter when you're blushing." He teased.
Of course, that made me blush even harder. I hid behind my hair, trying to cover my face.
He laughed, knowing the effect he had on me.
"You're blushing so much, you look like a tomato!"
I gave him a death glare and flipped him off.
He gasped and put his hand to his chest, mocking hurt. I couldn't help but chuckle at his childishness.
"Shawn," I said innocently.
"Hailee," He replied.
"Stop being so weird."
Then we both burst out laughing.
