When Hailee and I got back to our previous seat, Maddie and Aaliyah were already seated in our spots. We made our way to them. Maddie and Aaliyah stood up after several minutes of us talking; volunteering to return all of our skates. I thanked them, and so didHailee. As soon as they came back, we all agreed to have lunch at Tim Hortons.

Car Ride Going Home

"That was so good..." we all mumbled.
All four of us burst out laughing at our sync-ness.

I was expecting Aaliyah and Maddie to jump back into their conversation like they did on the way this morning, but they didn't. So I took that opportunity to get the picture I wanted.

"Aaliyah. Let me see your phone." I tap my sister's shoulder.

"Why?" she asked.

Why does she have to be so difficult?

"Just let me borrow it. I wanna see something. " I explain.

She rolled her eyes, but hands me her phone anyway.

I send the picture to myself and delete the evidence on my sister's phone. If she finds out, I'll never hear the end of this.

My phone dings, signaling that I got the picture. I check my phone and smile at the picture before handing the phone back to Aaliyah.

I go to Hailee's contact and smile unconsciously at her name: "Hail 😄" I also looked at her contact picture that I took a few hours ago.

The picture of her kissing my cheek however, is just sitting in my photo library. Well, for now at least. Eventually, it'll be my lockscreen. To be honest, that was a really good shot. Props to Aaliyah.

Hailee's cheeks were flaming red, probably because of the coldness, but I like to think It was because of me. Her eyes were wide, and beautiful as ever, and her plump lips inches away from my mouth. She looked gorgeous.

I however, pretty much looked like an idiot. My eyes looked like they were about to fall out and my cheeks were a crimson red, this time I know it was because of Hailee.

I try to stop my smiling, but It just won't work. I try to bite the inside of my cheek to stop myself, but I can't. The smile just creeps back on my face anyway.

After Shawn got Aaliyah's phone, he kept smiling. It's not really my business at all, but I can't help but get curious.

I consider asking him what he's smiling at, but he seemed too engrossed in whatever was on that phone. I guess I'll have to find out another time. I don't feel like pestering him.

Then, as if on cue, the car stops in front of our House. I'll do it later. I think to myself.
