Chapter 7 - Yes and No! (Part 1)

-KENZIE'S POV-

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

*BEEP*

"Ugh!" I groaned searching for my phone and being unsuccessful.

"Seriously, where is it?" I said leaning up and finding it on the floor beside me.

I quickly grabbed it off of the floor and turned off the sound. I saw that I had a message from Alex.

Fr: Alex :)

Sorry about last night. I hope you got home okay!

To: Alex :)

Don't worry about it. I got home just fine. :)

I checked the time on my phone and saw it was almost nine. Its a good thing I'm not supposed to work today, I never would have made it.

I sat for a few minutes, then quickly remember what happened last night. I looked over and saw Jay was still asleep.

I grabbed my underwear off the floor and put it on. I decided to get cleaned up while Jay was still sleeping, I walked to my dresser and grabbed some leggings and a long fitted T-shirt and some comfortable underwear.

I quickly took my shower and got dressed. When I got back into my bedroom I notice Jay was gone. I walked out of my room still towel drying my hair when I heard crashing pans from the kitchen.

"Shit!" I heard Jay exclaim.

"What are you doing?" I said walking in laughing.

"Hey! Well, I was going to make breakfast, but it's not going as planned." He huffed.

"I can see that." I laughed at him.

"Oh, really?" He said walking towards me.

"Yes, I'm guessing it's a lot easier since I do have eyes and I don't think I'm blind." I said as he slowly walked closer.

"Sarcastic, are we?" He said stopping inches from me.

"Me? No!"

He slowly put his hand on my cheek, moving a few strands of wet hair behind my ear.

"I missed you." He said looking down at me.

"I missed you too." I said wrapping my arms around his waist.

"What are we to do about this?"

"This?"

"Us."

"I don't know."

"Me either." He laughed.

"Let's not worry about that right now."

"Okay." He said kissing me gently.

"Let's just have something delivered, because I really don't feel like cooking." I said.

"Do they have vegetarian?" He asked.

"Yes. Can I ask you a question?"

"Anything."

"Why are you only wearing boxers?"

"You don't like me like this, cause I can go put on some clothes."

"No!" I said as he tried to walk away.

"No, what?" He asked smiling.

"Don't go put on clothes, just yet." I said holding him tighter.

"Let's go back to bed." He said walking me backwards.
