"Fuck yeah, miss sunshine is getting married!" Adam yelled out, grinning as we walked into Karlie's place. She laughed, offering him a hug.
"I'm so happy for you, Karls." I smiled, giving my friend a huge hug. This was so exciting.
"Thank you and I know you guys helped him with everything so thank you for that as well." She told us, happily.
"It's nothing. I'm just happy we could help him but he was the one who pulled it off." I pointed at Josh who had stupid grin on his face. "You're getting married!" I squealed and she giggled.
"So before anything and it may be a bit too early to plan but will you be my maid of honor?" She questioned me and I obviously nodded my head excited honored that she would ask me that.
"Of course I will. This is the best thing ever." I smiled. "We need to celebrate." I said looking at all of them. They all nodded their heads and we ended up deciding to go to the bar we usually go to. We sat down at the table we usually did and I payed for the drinks. I had two things to celebrate, having an amazing boyfriend and Karlie getting engaged.
"Taylor get up there!" Josh yelled pointing at the stage, they were doing Karaoke and they wanted me to go up there and sing.
"Oh come on, Swifty I'll consider this my engagement present." Karlie said, laughing as I looked over at Adam and he gave me the reassurance I needed. So I went up on that stage and sang, dedicating the song to my lovely boyfriend. He grinned at me the whole time, his green eyes shining in the dark bar as he sat on the booth next our friends. When I finished, cheers erupted everywhere making a huge smile spread across my lips. I came down the stairs and info Adam's arms as they were open wide.
"You did amazing, T." He murmured, kissing my neck as he wrapped his arms around me tightly.
"Thank you, baby." I smiled, pressing my lips to his cheek before looking over at Karlie and Josh who were too busy making out. "Want to get out of here?" I whispered in his ear. He smirked and nodded his head.
"Guys? We're going to go home." Adam called out at them and Karlie pulled away from Josh for a second to say okay before returning back to what she was doing. We laughed and started walking towards the door hand in hand. "I think I know how they're going to end up tonight." Adam laughed, as we stepped outside.
"I think I know where I want to end up with you tonight." I smirked, speaking boldly as I stopped to see his eyes widening.
"Yeah?" He spoke softly, his hands on my waist. I nodded my head, smirking.
"Oh yeah." I bit my lip. I was about to speak again when I was interrupted by a voice behind me.
"Excuse me? Taylor Swift, right? The girl who sang tonight?" I spun around to look at the man dressed in black. I nodded my head, responding to his question. "My name is Scott Borchetta." He put his hand out and I shook it.
"It's nice to meet you. I'm Taylor." I smiled as my back was resting against Adam. "What can I do for you, Scott?" I questioned.
"I think I'll be very direct about this. You have an amazing voice and I want you on my label." He said, shocking me a little bit. "This is my card. Give me a call and we'll get you to sing more so we can see your full potential, that is if you want this." He told me, handing me the card. It said Big Machine Records. I had never heard of it before.
"I don't know what to say. Wow. Are you serious?" I stated my eyes wide.
"Yes, I am. But give me a call and we'll talk more. Goodnight." He smiled at us before going to his car while I stood there with my mouth wide open. Was this really happening.
"Baby! This is amazing!" Adam turned me around to face him, kissing my cheek, grinning at me wildly. "He said he wanted you on your label, T. Do you know what this means?" He laughed, picking me up in his arms and spinning me around.
"My dream has a chance of coming true." I breathed out, still stunned to process what had just happened.
"It does, babe." He said excitedly, as he rested his forehead on my mine. "I guess we have a lot to celebrate tonight." He stated, smirking at me as he kissed my lips. Our tongues battled in a useless war. His hands roaming my body making me almost forget where we were. Making out in the middle of a New York street where everyone could see was not some I was used to doing. "Maybe we should take this home?" He pulled away looking into my blue eyes.
"Yeah, we definitely should." I said, breathless. He laced our fingers together and we walked to our apartment which wasn't far from the bar.
He fumbled with the keys, opening the door minutes later before shutting it and crashing his lips against mine, making my back hit the door, as a small giggle escaped my lips. My legs wrapped around his waist as he carried me to my bedroom.
"Shit." He breathed out, when he knocked over a vase in the hall on the way to the bedroom.
"You're a clumsy asshole." I laughed as he joined me, our laughter dying down as our lips came back together. Luckily, my bedroom door was open so no accident happened as he walked to the bed, laying me down on it as he took his shirt off, giving the opportunity to admire his toned body. My hands ran down abs as he opened the buttons of my blouse.
"Are you sure you want to do this now?" He asked as my hands went down to undo his belt.
"Yes, I'm sure." I nodded my head and his lips attached to my neck, pressing small kisses to it. "I love you." I murmured, my hands on his hair as he took off his pants.
"I love you more." He smiled, pulling away to look at me as he unclasped my bra. I gazed deep into his eyes, smiling at my best friend as he brought our lips together once again.
