Chapter 15

Ryan runs with thhe pack they are headed stright. For Henry's and Victor's combined pack. Beside him Walt, Martin, Luke, Joe, Evelyn, and Cody slam into the other's  wolf's. Ryan grabs one by the throat and pulls with all his might. He rips out the wolf's throat. The wolf drops to the ground dead. Ryan jumps over the body. Then is slammed from the side. He rolls with gravity. Ryan stand to see who slammed him. It's Victor in human form. "When I'm done with you I'm going after your mate and child. Children are so tender." said Victor. He then shifts quickly. Ryan doesn't gives him time to finsish. He pounces on him mid change. They roll around snipping at each other. Victor pens Ryan to the ground then lunges from my neck.
Bang...Bang... Ryan is jolted out of sleep by the banging at his door. He throws the covers off him and walks to the door and unlocks it. Then he opens it to see Walt there. "Rogue's have been spotted not far from here. Alph is calling a meeting now." said Walt. Ryan retreats back into there room. He grabs a shirt puts it on. Then hurdle puts his socks and shoes on. Then grabs his wallet and keys out of habit. Ryan follows Walt down the stairs in silence. Once they reach the bottom of the stairs. I could see half the pack house standing around the huge living room. All the warriors are at the center of the room. Ryan and Walt walk over there. Walt goes over to Evelyn and takes her hand in his. Ryan glances around to see Alpha Luis and Alph Ralph standing together. Looking grim beside then is there Beta's Nil and Kyle. Ryan has heard all about Kyle from Bonnie. He has been on a top secret mision for the pack. Bonnie didn't say when he left or where he went. Kyle's gry eye's are focused on Ryan's. He left shortly after he was accepted into the pack. I come back once a month. Last time Luis asked me to look into two different rogue pack's. Also to check out his story. Which all turned out to be ture.
"Kyle, are ready to share your info with the rest of the pack?" asks Luis. Kyle nods. "Attention! Attention please!" said Luis. The room goes silent. Ryan pushes back his worries of Bonnie to the back of his mind. "My thrid in command Kyle has new information straight from the enemy itself." said Luis. He steps back everyone focuses on Kyle as he steps forward. "As you know two rogue packs have joined together. And are being lead here by Henry and Victor. What you don't know is that? There was cue in Henry's pack they have killed him. Appointed Victor as there new Alph. Now his pack number's nine hundred fighters. That's almost the same with the help of the Nightshade pack. We are going to be spread thin on the battle fild. They are at least three days from here. If they run through the night two night's." said Kyle. "We will rip there throats out." growls Gel. Ryan agrees with Gel he is ready to get this over with. It's lasted long enough. "You've been really quiet since Bonnie fought Alec. I miss them too-"Don't we should have went after them our pup will be born without us there. Don't talk to me tell we go get our mate." said Gel. Ryan growls lowly startling people around him. "We will be increasing our protrols. We need every able-bodied wolf to fight to protect our homes. I'll shortly a sign groups.  To protrol a certain part of our territory. Tell then grab some breakfeast." said Luis. With that the crowd drifted off in different directions.
"Ryan, I want a word with you and Walt. My office now." commanded Luis. Ryan growls lowly at the command. But turns and makes his way to the stairs. Walt and I reach the stairs at the same time. We go up the stairs in silence. When we reach the stairs we hear mumer of voices. Walt knocks on the door. " Come in." asks Luis He opens the door. Both Luis and Ralph were sitting. While there Beta's stood at there shounlders. Aron's expression is blank Nil is frowning slightly. "Shut the door behind you." says Ralph. Walt pushes down his anger and shuts the door. "Alright, now that your both here we can talk. About who you want. On your special mision that we are giving you." said Luis. Ryan is puzzled by this. "Wait what secret mision? Why are choosing us to lead? Ryan doesn't trust me anymore how do we lead a team without trust." said Walt. Luis staples his fingers together. Then rests his chin on them. That's a good question by making them work together. They have to talk to each other and rely on one another to accomplish there mission.
"Well your mission is to cut off the head of the snake before the soldier's get here." said Ralph. Ryan looks from one to the other there serious. That would only give them a day or two to get him. Before they reach Blue Moon pack territory. "That doesn't give us a lot of time. He is bound to have guards around him.Victor is no push over. That's not including getting pass his pack. We would have to sneak. Through there ranks then try and take down Victor quitly." said Ryan. Walt could see that it would be almost impossible to accomplish. If we did manage to get pass Victor's pack. He no doubt would but up one hell of a fight. His pack would hear the scuffle between them and Victor. "What happens if we are caught?" asks Walt. Ralph wouldn't meet there eye's nether would Nel. Ryan looks to Luis to see he has tears in his eye's. But he had eye's only for his son. "Son, it's your choice if you go it's chance. You'll be a prisoner till we kill or capture Victor. But if you succeed you will be saving many life's. Ryan you know Victor. Do you think with a team you take him down? Even if there is a chance that you  might get caught?" asks Luis. Ryan looks him in the eye and realize's that this suicide mision wasn't his idea. "I'm not sure it's frankly a suicide mision. If we survive this-"Then you'll be remembered as heroes for the rest of your lives. It's risky but do really want to take the chance that he slips away again. Let's put another way do want your children to grow up in constant danger of a insane wolf." said Ralph.
He had a smug smile on his face. Ryan growls loundly. He takes a step toward him. Walt grabs Ryan by the arm restraining him so he wouldn't attack Ralph. "Enough!" commanded Luis. Ryan stops struggling Walt let's him go. "Either you pick your team or I do. Hurry and think it over we are wasting time here." commanded Luis. Ryan is still trying to calm down.
"Terry, Nick, Martin, Cody, Tyler, and Joey. That alright with you Ryan?" asks Walt. Ryan nods yes. He is still worked up to really care right now. He has either fought with them. Or seen them practice. They all knew how to fight well. "Fine let me send them a message to meet you two at the creek. You can explain what we discussed then. You can go Ryan. Walt stay a moment-"No Ryan stays or we don't talk at all." says Walt. Ryan looks at him to see he is shaking. " We will leave you to your chat. Come Nil." said Ralph. Luis waits tell he can't hear there foot steps anymore. " I'm sorry for the way I acted towards the both of you. But Ralph has been questioning my decisions. I had to be firm with the both of you. Its a dangerous mission. That I'm asking you to take he thinks. I'm ordering to go now. This has to be your decision." said Luis. Ryan could still feel the authority rolling off him. " I'll go it's probably suicide like Ryan said. But there is a chance we can get to him before he reaches our territory." said Walt. Ryan thoughts had circled back to Bonnie and what Ralph said. "Does he know that Bonnie is pregnant-"Wait that's why she isn't here. You could keep it in your pants she is asset to the warriors." exclaims Kyle. Ryan looks over at him he had noticed him over ther in the corner. He is enraged he is shaking. "Calm yourself Kyle. Bonnie and Ryan are mates. It's time you accepted that." said Luis. Ryan watches as Kyle slowly calms down. But he kept glaring at him. "I'll go if we do manage to get to him. Take him down do you want him dead or alive?" asks Ryan. Luis stands then walks to the window. "If we don't end him he will come after you but not only you but your child and Bonnie. I want him dead for what he has done to our family." snarls Luis. He turns to face them. Ryan can see that he is struggling with his wolf for control. "Then we should get going we don't won't to miss our chance to grab him." said Ryan.
   Walt and Ryan turn and walk out of the office. "I need to talk to Evelyn. Before we meet up with the others I'll see at the creek." says Walt. Ryan watches Walt disappear down the stairs. He head up the stairs to their room. Ryan goes over to his dresser. And opens the second compartment. He moves aside shorts to revile a small box. He opens it and sits. inside it is a ruby ring. It's the only thing that was left with Alec, Lilly, and him. We were two and Lilly was one when we were orphaned. Ryan closes the box then places it in the compartment. He shuts it then walks over to the small desk that had paper waiting. Ryan sat then opens a compartment in search of pen. Once he found one he wrote a letter to Bonnie. Just in case if he didn't make it. He folded the letter and put Bonnie's name on it. Ryan left it on the desk then walks to the door opens it as he shuts it. He wishes he could hold Bonnie before he left on this mission. Ryan walks down the stairs as he reaches the bottom. He hears Walt and Evelyn shouting at each other. "IT'S A SUICIDE MISION. YOU'LL NEVER GET PAST ALL HIS WOLF'S TO GET HIM. DON'T DO THIS YOU HAVE NOTHING TO PROVE. PLEASE STAY!"  shouts Evelyn . Walt walks from the direction of the kitchen. Ryan could tell from where is standing that his jaw is clenched and his hands fisted. He could see the temper and confusion in Walt's eye's. "Don't say a word let's go." said Walt. Ryan follows Walt out the door. But not before he hears Evelyn's heart breaking sobs.
   They decide to walk to the stream instead of shifting. As they get closer they hear laughter and chatter. Terry is standing on a small bolder near the stream. "There you two are now can know what is going on." asks Terry. He jumped down from the bolder landing in the stream splashing everyone. "Why did Alph Luis want us to meet out here for?" asks Nick. Ryan glances at them all. Martin, Cody, Tyler, and Joe were looking at them expecting answers. "We have been given a mission to do. Its extremely dangerous." said Ryan. Walt shifted his feet nervously. "We are asking you to help us brake through Victor's army. To get to him and kill him. Before his wolf's notices we are there." said Walt. All six of them are looking at us as if we have lost our minds. "That there is plum crazy. How do you expect to get past an army of wolf's? Then confront Victor without his guards noticing." comments Joe. "Well that's another thing we have to think of. How to detract his army while we take care of Victor? Any idea's?" asks Ryan. Joe doesn't like this it's one thing to be fighting. It's  another thing to face an army. And another to try and sneak into it's camp. It makes her uncomfortable. "It's nine hundred against the six of us. We are hugely out numbered. Anything we do won't pull that many wolf's away from Victor. Plus he is a skilled fighter it won't be easy to take him down." said Martin. Ryan rubs his eye's. They are bringing up good arguments against going. "It's your choice but know this. If we don't go and he slips away again. He can come back with even more wolf's. We might not be able to hold them off-"Not to mention he sent a assassin after Bonnie. He won't give up till he destroys everyone that I love. For me there is no question if I'm going or not. I have to protect Bonnie and our unborn child." said Ryan. They all gasped. "Bonnie's pregnant is that why she is in hiding?" says Tyler. Ryan nods. They look at each other. "We are in it for Bonnie and you." said Tyler. Walt is surprised they agreed to go. He can't get Evelyn's tear drenched face out of his mind. "Walt, you don't have to go. If Bonnie was here she would have done. Exactly like Evelyn had done. Or gave me a bloody nose for agreeing to doing something so dangerous.-"Yeah she would have. I have to do this. We have to stop him one way or another. She will eventually forgive me for not listening to her." said Walt. "We should go ahead and shift don't you think?" asks Cody. Walt and Ryan nod.
    They all strip off all there clothes. Then they roll them up and carry them in their mouths. Each groans in pain as their bones snap in two. There organ shift around there is a lound snap as ther spines  snaps in two. They all fall to the ground gasping in pain as their hands and feet form into paws. Their faces elongates then their canines break through there gums. Fur spreads all over their bodies. When it was over each took a moment to catch their breath. Ryan pushes to his feet. His tongue hanging out of his mouth. Every now and then his tongue would slap him in the face. He turns to the others to see they are also just getting to their feet. Cody's gray wolf is slightly bigger then Joe's copper wolf. Walt's dark gray wolf is big he is sniffing the air. "We should get a move on." said Walt. They all set off running headed off pack territory. Walt hopes that he hasn't made a mistake with Evelyn. He loves her and doesn't want anything to happen to her. Going on this mission could save life's. But he also knew how dangerous it was. They all will make it back. No matter what they face they will get back safely.
