They Enemies Are Everywhere

Chapter 16

   Ryan huckers down in the brush. He and the other's are down wind. But they are very close to Victor's camp. They are seeing extra patrols. Walt crawls closer to Ryan. "What do you think we should do?"asks Joe. Ryan looks over at her. To see her laying down in the brush. "We pull back far enough. If we aren't spotted by their protrols. Right away. Then we decided on a plan to get to Victor." said Ryan. They all pull back. Ryan makes sure to cover their scent. To be on the safe side. They go back twenty clicks. They find a alcove that is big enough for the eight of them. Each of them settle in. But don't start a fire. It would get noticed by the protrols. They shift back they dress quietly. All of them are exhausted. From there all night run. Walt leans against the wall. The cold rock feels good on his skin. "This is probably our last time together. Before we might be prisoners. At some point." said Martin. Ryan growls lowly in frustration. He knows that it is true this mission is impossible. How are they going. To get past nine hundred wolf's. To leave one alone long enough. For a couple of them to sneak in and deal with Victor. "What a way to inspire confedence. We need a plan let's brain storm." said Nick. Ryan smells it on the wind rogue's close by.  "We are being ambushed. Shift and split up in two's. Now!" exclaims Ryan . The air is thick with the sounds of breaking bones. In matter of minutes. Eight full grown wolf's gather their clothes. In there mouths in take off in different directions. Nick and Ryan go in the same direction. They cover their scent. They hear howling close by. "There closing in on us. No matter what happens we don't give up the other’s. Do you understand Nick?" shouts Ryan " I won't break I'm tougher then I look. I'll keep your secret to my grave." said Nick. Hopefully it won't come to that. Twenty wolf's surround us they growl loundly. They attack as one.
     Walt and Joe hear the howls then the unmistakable sounds of fighting. Then two high pitched wines of pain. They look at each other. "That came from the direction that Ryan and Nick went." said Joe. She turns to head that way. Walt blocks her. "There is still wolf's out there. Let's stick to our fall back plan. And meet at the river. It's what we decided on the way here.-"Walt lead them way from here don't come back tell we have the reforcements to get to him." said Ryan . Walt does as they planed they run as fast as they could. The sun is just rising. When they reach the river. They see Terry, Martin, Cody, and Tyler.  Are  standing with Alph Luis and Alph Ralph. Along with over half of Nightshade's warrior's. Standing with them is Evelyn. Aron is standing next to her and he is talking to Terry. "Ryan and Nick were captuered. We could have used you when we where surounded." said Walt. Joe and Walt both shift there bone snap like twinges. There organ shift back there hands reform. There fur disappears and there faces goes back to normal. There canines shrink back into there gums. They both put their clothes on. " Did Ryan or Nick say anything after they were captured?" Luis asks Luis. Walt looks at him  then at Ralph. "Wait a minute you two are not still trying  to out do each other-" No we resolved that. And realized you needed a small army. To take on Victor." said Ralph. Luis steps forward. Then places a hand on Walt's shoulder. "Tell us what you found out. Before you where discovered." said Luis. Walt walks past his father. To Evelyn who starring at him through red eye's. She is silently crying. Walt takes her arm bring her close then kisses her. Evelyn kisses him back. Walt but his love and aplogiy in the kiss. He pulls back there both breathing heavily. "I'm sorry." said Walt. " This is touching and all. But we need to know what we are facing." said Ralph. Joe is smiling at there display of affection. She will tell them. "There guards protroling every hour. The camp is well protected. The most protected spot is the center. That's most likely where Victor is. But that might change since he knows that we where scouting his camp." said Joe.
    AWAW! Nick screams. Ryan watches from across the room. As they break his bones. He has so far kept his word he has not spoken. Victor walks into the tent look at the sobbing Nick. Then looks at Ryan who is chained by his wrists and legs to pegs in the ground but had enough room to stand and move. "Let’s see if we have any luck with this one. You can get back to that one later." said Victor. Two of guys came. They went to either side of Ryan. Then they  pull the chains tell. Ryan is suspended in the air by his limbs. Victor picks up a heavy club  that is sitting on the table. Ryan watches as he comes closer. "I hear that you have found your mate. When I get my hands on her she'll be beg for me stop. I'll tartore her tell she goes insane." snarls Victor. When he is inches from Ryan. He brings the club back and swing right at his torso. Ryan thrashs with the impact. Victor keeps hitting him repeatedly. Tell he gets bored of hitting Ryan. Then he rises his fist and punches him in the gut. So hard that he was forced vertical. Victor has an aura of power around him. He uses gravity. He is a elemental. Which are rare. Ryan coughs and spits up blood. He could feel his shattered bones starting to heal. "I have some business to attend to. Yunnan why don't you show Ryan. Your absolute favorite weapon. That you like to use to interrogate with." said Victor. Nick and Ryan both watch as Victor leaves the tent. Then there attention is drawn. To Yunnan who unwrapping a whip. That had silver tips. He walks behind Ryan. "We have reforcements Ryan. We are working on a plan hold on a little longer." said Walt. Once he is behind Ryan he swings the whip it snaps. Then blazing fire rips through my skin. "AWAWOOH!" screams Ryan. Nick closes his eye's as Yunnan. Brings the whip down on Ryan's back. He doesn't  know. How much more he can take. Nick opens his eye's. When the sound of the whips snapping stops. He is rolling up his whip. "Got anything to say boy?" asks Yunnan. Ryan just looks at the floor and spits blood out. He back hands Ryan. Yunnan walks to Nick unrolling his whip as he walked. "Wait please, I'll tell you what you want to know. I can't take no more-"YOU TRAITOR! I'LL GET YOU FOR THIS!" yells Ryan. Yunnan walks to Ryan and punches every inch of him. Till his breath was coming in rattling puffs. "The one that we broke down first. Just threw in the towel." said Yunnan. "Good get all you can from him then kill him. What about Ryan has he broke yet?" asks Victor. Yunnan glances over his shoulder. At him he is unconscious. "No he hasn't broke. He can take a beating-"Infrom me when you have all of your information from the other one." commands Victor.  He puts his weapon aside for now. Then goes up to the other one he flinches. "Start talking you can began with. Why you and your friend' were snooping? Around our camp for."said Yunnan.
     Walt is next to Evelyn thinking over the plan. Of the  attack they've come up with. "Do you think this attack on one side? Of the camp will draw enough of the fighter's away?" asks Evelyn. He stops starring at Aron and Nil. Who are talking together. His Dad and Ralph had ran back. To the Blue Moon territory to rile up. The rest of our army to attack Victor. " We really didn't  have a choice it has to work. As soon Aron gets the go ahead from the Alph. Then we head to Victor's camp." said Walt . Evelyn has a bad feeling about all this. It isn't  going to be a surprise attack. Now that they have Nick and Ryan. They have all the leverage and hostages. She could just imagine what Bonnie. Would say and do right now. She would want to fight with the rest of the warriors. And she would be angry with Ryan. For doing something so stupid. There was a snap of a twinge and out stumble. A tan wolf that is covered in blood. And has wild frightened eye's. "Nick!" shouts Cody. We all rush forward. He growls loundly he bares his teeth. "Nick, it's okay your safe now. You don't  have to fight any more." said Aron. Nick shifts back. He screams when he is in human from. All his bones are facing in different directions. "Cody, Martin, and Walt hold him down. I need to sit his bone right." ordered Joe. She grabs his arm. Then pulls till itbpops back into place. His left arm is just broken. She makes splint and fits it to his arm. Both his legs our out of place. She pops both back in. The whole time he thrashes and screams. Evelyn helps her splint his legs. "I'm sorry tell Ryan I'm sorry." repeats  Nick. Evelyn pulls up Nicks shirt. To see his entire torso is covered in blood spots. Where blood has settled. Nick coughs up blood. He stops breathing. Joe starts CPR she trys for fifteen minutes.
     "He is gone." said Joe. Walt wraps his arms around Evelyn. "What did he mean to tell Ryan he is sorry?" asks Evelyn. " He must have broken under interrogation. Aron we should go ahead move on Victor while we can. We don't want to get ambushed again." remarks Tyler. They looked at Aron to see. To see that his eye's are glazed over. He blicks then looks down at Nick. "We just got the go ahead. We can go near him now. After the battle we will come back for him. For now let's move him. To protect his body from animal's." said Aron . They did it's just in time. After they found a safe place for Nicks body. They all striped then shifted. Then gathered their clothes in there mouths. And ran into the direction of Victor's camp. As they ran towards Victor's camp. Alph Luis and Alph Ralph were running back. With over half their pack's following them to Victor's camp.
      Ryan comes awake coughing. Because he was doused with a bucket of water. He shakes his head to get his hair out of his eye's. Ryan opens his eye's. He could only see out one of his eye's. The other one  is swollen shut. It's Yunnan behind him at a safe distance is Victor. He looks smug. " Did you really think that you could keep? The fact that you hid away your mate?Did you really think that would stop me. From looking for her? Where is she?" asks Victor. Yunnan unrolls his whip. "Convince him." commands Victor. Ryan feels the burn of the silver. As the whip rips through the skin on his torso. Victor listens to Ryan screams of pain. It's the sweetest music to my ear's. My Lilly screamed just as lound when he killed her. In the end he will die by my hand. First he must be broken. "That's enough let's see if he is willing to talk now." asks Victor. Once again Yunnan wraps up his whip. "Where she is she? It's just going to get worse for you. You will not leave here alive. TELL ME!" exclaims Victor . Ryan spits blood on to the floor. Enraged Victor takes a silver knife from his boot. Then goes to Ryan. And digs the knife into Ryan torso.   And starts making slow shallow cuts. Ryan groans in pain. Victor continues to do it for long time. After Ryan stopped struggling. Yunnan grabs Victor by the arm's and pulls him back. "TALK DAME YOU." shouts Victor. He had lost consciousness again.
   They get to the camp to see Victor storming from a tent. He has blood all over his hands. Their at a safe distance from the protrols. Waiting for rest of them to arrive to distract the warriors. To get to Ryan and take down Victor as while. "It looks like Ryan is in that tent. That Victor just walked out of. Let’s see where he goes." said Walt. They were all hidden between bolders and underbrush. All of them are down wind. Evelyn sees Victor go in a side tent. Not that far from where Ryan is being kept. "Side tent not that far from where Ryan is being kept." said Evelyn. Nil and the other Nightshade pack members. Saw what they did. Because Nil gave his signal wiggling his ear's. To let him know they saw to. "We've just reached the stream. We will be there shortly. Keep your heads down till we get closer." commands Alph Luis. Walt looks at Nil. His eye's are glazed over. He just got the same instructions. He wiggles his ear's. Walt snorts in answer. They hear screaming coming from the tent Victor walked out of. "We can't just sit here. He needs us now!" yells Cody. "We have our orders we wait for the rest of the warriors. To get here before we make our move." said Aron. They watch the camp to see. Where most of the warriors  are at. There mainly around the cafeteria and fighting ring. "Most of the warriors are constrainted around the mess hall. And the fight ring. I'm  close to where your attacking." said Aron. "Alright, we are here wait tell there running to us. Then sweep in to get Ryan. If he is in good condition. To help you take down Victor." said Alph Luis. All of us hear Aron's and Alph's Luis conversation. Walt looks to Nil to see he is getting ready. Everyone could feel the tension and nervous around them. Howl...Howl.. They watch as they run. Into the wolf's invading the camp. Their hollering to one another and shifting. They were running around as if there heads were cut off. "Now there completely distracted. Let’s go get Ryan and get that sneaky rogue Victor!"  shouts Aron. They run down the embankment stright into the camp. Walt is right behind Aron as they reach the tent. They believe Ryan is being held in. Aron is first in is hit with a whip that stings like fire. "Watch out it's  tipped with silver." said Aron.  Aron limps to the side. Walt dances to the side. The whip misses him by inches.  Martin enters the tent and jumps the guy with whip. Then rips his throat out. "Aron are you alrighr?" asks Walt. "Yeah fine just a scratch." said Aron. Walt looks at Ryan and freezes. He has wounds from the whip. Also knife wounds  all over his torso. Martin shifts then lowers the chain. Which brings Ryan down. Walt shifts and does the other side. That is when he sees Ryan's back. It is covered with whip marks. Ryan grunts as he lefted slightly off the ground. He opens his eye to see Walt and Martin. Undoing the chains from his wrists and ankles. "It's alright Ryan we got you. We will get Victor for this-"As long as I can help bring him down thats fine with me." remarks Ryan. Aron bring over a bucket of water. Then pores it over Ryan's many wounds. A lot of them have already healed others are healing. " Can you stand?" asks Aron. Walt and Martin help Ryan to his feet. Ryan sways slightly but stay up right. That is when I notice everyone else in the tent. " I see you brought reforcements. Let’s  go get Victor I've got a score to sittle." said Ryan. They walk out the tent. As they Mike it out of the tent. Victor walks our of his. He freezes then he turns. Then he runs in the opsite direction. They all take after him. Ryan shifts on the run it's pure agony. But does it anyway. "LET GET THAT CREEP." shouts Gel. The other's are right beside him. His whole body hurts he pushes it down. He has to catch him. Victor skids to stop he has run into a dead in. There are two huge bolders standing in his way. "What now Ryan? You don't have the strength to take me on." said Victor. "I need to do this myself. Don't try to stop me." said Ryan.  Ryan steps toward him growling loundly. Victor smiles then shifts into a huge black wolf. It snarls at him. They circle each other. Each step is agony for Ryan. He pushes through it. This ends now! Victor lunges for me I side step him. Then I barrel into him taking him to the ground. We roll around biting and snarling at each other. He manages to throw me off him. Victor pounces on my back. Then racks his claws down my raw back. I turn quickly and throw him off. Ryan could feel fresh blood gushing down his back. They both pounce at the same time. They are clawing and biting at each other. Victor pulls back shaking his head. My claws had riped his right eye out. Ryan pounces then grabs the scruff of Victor's  neck. Then shakes with all his strength. There is an lound crunch. And Victor goes limp. Ryan is still shaking his head. "Ryan, you can stop." said Cody. Ryan drops him. Victor is looking up at him whimpering. He snap his spine but is still alive. Ryan snarls at him. "I'll finish it Ryan." said Aron. Ryan steps back from Victor. Aron steps up to him then bends down. Then rips out his throat.
