    Chapter 2

   As soon as the rain slacked up. We went to our vehicles. Bonnie joined her mother and brother in the Explorer. Ryan takes a breath. As he follows the explorer. Ryan thinks about his response to Bonnie and hers to him. She is going to be hard to resist.  Ryan has never felt such strong feelings from anyone.

   "We should get to know Bonnie and her wolf. They are our mates finally. After all these years don't blow this." said Gel. Ryan didn't respond because he felt same way. He is sick of running from his past. Its never ending. Bonnie makes everything brighter. Ryan is scared of being rejected or ran off pack territory. They took a dirt road.It took  thirty minutes to get too the pack house.

   As Ryan pulled in beside the explorer. He knew a lot  rode on his meeting with Alph Luis. He shut off the engine and pulled the keys from ignition. Ryan got out  of  truck. As he shut the door he smelt more wolf's on breeze.

   He turned slowly as the wolf's came out of the woods. They emitally went on guard. Two wolfs on the wing side started growling and snarling. One is pure black and the other is slightly smaller is chocolate brown.  Before they could do anything a huge gray wolf emerges from the shadow's.  With one low growl the two wolf's back off.

  They retreat back in the woods. When they came back they were dressed. And talking to each other.  All ten of them were all staring at him in anger or fear. "What is a rogue doing on my territory?" said Alph Luis. The crowd parted. Luis walks through them and stops a few inches from the rogue. Ryan could feel the authority and strength he radiated. "Ryan is here on my invention. It is my wish that you talk to him. And hear out his story." said Zoey. Ryan glances at Miss Zoey. She has authority in her voice. Ryan looks back at the others. They were bowing there heads in respect. Ryan see Luis grinding his teath together.  ''As you wish my love." said Luis.

    "Follow me Ryan.-"Luis you mean us. He is our daughters mate." said Zoey Ryan could see Luis shacking. Zoey walks to him and wraps her arms around him. He slowly gains control. He hugs Zoey back. Then looks past me. And smiles with love and understanding. "Honey I'm so proud. I have to question Ryan. As a procaughtion" said Luis. Bonnie goes up to Ryan. He feels her approaching. She graps his hand and squeezes. Ryan did not want to let go. He started to relax his tense muscles. " Everything is alright.I'll see in a little while." said Bonnie.

   Ryan reluctantly releases her hand. She walks past the pack as she did a girl with bushy red hair. Joined her they walked into the pack house. Ryan watches her till she goes through the door. The other wolf soon follows. "Follow us to my office." said Luis. Ryan does as he was asked.

  As Ryan is lead to Luis office he glances around. He sees more wolf's they look at him with mixture of fear and hate. Then he see Bonnie talking to the girl with red bushy hair. Ryan refocused on the Alph.  Ryan is lead up two flats of stairs. They stop outside an oak door. Zoey opens the door. Luis goes in. Ryan reluctantly goes in the office.

  " Take a seat please. Would you like anything to drink-"We are not here for pleasure. How much is it going to take for you to leave my little girl alone." said Luis. Ryan looks him in eyes and growls threatening. " That's enough both of you act your age. Luis I'm ashamed of your behavior. Ryan is Bonnie's mate. You need to listen to him." said Zoey.

   Luis would rather chase him off his territory. "Alright I'll listen. He better be respectful to me." said Luis. Ryan trying his hardest to calm down Gel. " Ryan go ahead tell him what you told me." said Zoey. Ryan clears his throat. " I grew up in upstate New York in local ophrange. I never knew my parent's. I did not know that I was a wolf. Not tell I shifted for the first time when I was sixteen. In that confusion I accidentally killed someone." said Ryan. Luis believes Ryan the pup is telling the truth. He must have been so scared. "That's some story. You've been through a lot. The death is a accident. Shifting for first time is hard. Its double that if you don't know what's happening to you." said Luis. Ryan hears Luis from far away. Ryan shakes his head to clear it. "Ryan it was not your fault." said Zoey. Ryan looks at Zoey and sees tears in her eyes. " Your place is here now with Bonnie. Our pack is your pack now. We are your family." said Zoey. Ryan can't speek due to lump in his throat.
