Ennaira (pronounced en-air-ah)
Ennaira is the second largest of the countries of Taynarch. It was named in honour of Arianne Thrower, Ennaira being Arianne backwards. Ennaira is near to the middle of the planet also, so the temperature here is usually warm. However, as a result, it usually rains more and certain parts of the land near to the coastline flood. This makes the land surrounding the coast almost in a permanent marsh-like state.
Because of the conditions of the land, unless the season is summer, it is almost impossible to grow crops there as they will drown almost immediately after being planted. Therefore, the few items of food that can grow have to grow further inland are all that Ennairites can rely on to survive.
To trade, which Ennairites need to do to feed their entire population and survive, Ennairites have to create jewellery, construct wooden sculptures, pottery, paintings, and other craft work.
Around seventeen million Ennairites live in the country of Ennaira. Ennairites eat mainly tasteless vegetables and fruits, and kill some animals such as bears and lions. They have to scavenge as much meat as they can from the carcases, as they are never sure when they will next eat.
The Ennairites are strong believers in Trevor the sky God. Every morning at dawn and every evening at dusk they gather as a conglomeration to worship Trevor and sacrifice to him their favourite spoons. They have to pray five times a day facing towards the sun. No matter what point in the sky it is. They must stare into the sun for a period of two and a half minutes to be accepted as a true believer in the most awesome Trevor.
