 Leyamerica and Zeldorbia

(Pronounced Lay-arm-err-eek-a & zel-door-bee-a)

Leyamerica and Zeldorbia once formed a reasonably sized country. However, a quake in two tectonic plates beneath Taynarch’s surface caused the countries to split in two and become two separate countries. Together the country was known as Leyamorbia, but the split in land also caused a new found independence for one half of the tribe.

Situated on Leyamerica, you will find approximately sixty thousand Leyamericans. However, on Zeldorbia, the tribe is also officially classed as the Leyamericans. All fifty thousand of them claim to be known as the Zeldorbians, yet all of them still look the same and all of them still worship the same almighty God and create the same things.

The weather on Leyamerica and Zeldorbia is similar to the weather on a country on the distant planet Earth, England. Throughout most of the year, it is mainly rainy or cloudy, with temperatures mainly below fifteen degrees Celsius. Although, sometimes, the weather is occasionally sunny. Sometimes, it is also cold enough to snow, but because of the constant rainfall the ground is usually wet and the snow hardly ever sets.

The Leyamericans and the Zeldorbians both believe in one almighty God: Mr Crimbo. Mr Crimbo is the god of winter and of festivity, and is highly honoured in both of the countries. It is thought that he has an evil brother known as ‘Cromwell’,  who they believe once tried to cancel Christmas but Mr Crimbo carried on with his work and managed to banish Cromwell. However, when he was banished, he was banished to the different planet earth in the sixteenth century as a baby, where he then grew up and tried to cancel Christmas there.
