There were voices, but Jason didn't know where they were coming from. All he saw was darkness, but he heard them, he heard the voices. Then a light appeared in front of him and he started to get sucked in. Jason clawed at the ground trying to keep himself from going away but he couldn't. The light engulfed him and he flew out of the light and into pillow.
Jason woke up, conscious, and he looked around. He was in a bed, with sheets over his body. It looked like he was in a hospital, he lifted off his sheets and he wasn't in his clothes that he wore before he got knocked out, he was in hospital clothes.
Then Jason remembered what had happened, Gabe! He got up and went over to the window. He looked out and saw a parking lot and a hospital sign. At least he wasn't arrested. Then he heard footsteps and voices just outside of his door. He leaped back over to his bed, and landed on it, that hurt his head and he felt queasy but he put his sheets on top of him and pretended to be asleep.
The people came in and Jason noticed that it was his dad who was talking to someone, probably a doctor. Jason heard the door close and someone walk up to his bed. His dad was in front of his face and Jason had a good idea.
"BOO!" Yelled Jason.
Michael leaped back and yelled, then Jason's head hurt and his head fell back onto the pillow. Michael got back up and walked over to him.
"You okay Jason?"
"Ya, I'm fine."
"Okay, I just wanted to tell you something."
"Please don't tell me that you and mom are divorcing."
"No, that wasn't what I was going to tell you, it was about the mystery."
"Really, did you capture Gabe!?"
"Gabe? Is that the guys name?"
"Ya, did you capture him?"
"Yes we did, people saw him attack you inside a tent and called the police."
"Okay, so what do you want to tell me then?"
"Well, we questioned him and he was scared about talking about his team of robbers, but he thought the job wouldn't last so he told us about it."
"And?"
"The way the people got launched off the rollercoasters pods was because the robbers overnight, put springs under a new plate of the pod that they made, and when you pressed a button, the spring would work, and you would skyrocket into the air."
"Is there any difference between the new plates and the old plates?"
"Yes, the colour is just different by a bit, so you can't really tell."
"Okay, thanks for telling me."
"Okay, bye." Said Michael as he was stepping out of the door.
"Wait, dad."
"What?"
"What time is it?"
"You got knocked out yesterday, and it is 3:45 pm so you were knocked out for a while."
"When can I leave?"
"I was just talking about that to the doctor and he said you are free to leave any time."
"Can I leave now?"
"Sure, we'll sign you out."
So Jason got his stuff and went downstairs with his dad. They signed him out and they walked out of the hospital and over to Michael's car. They arrived and put Jason's stuff into the trunk and hopped in the two front seats. As they were driving home, they got stuck in a bunch of traffic so Jason's dad decided to say something.
"I'm going with Geoff over to Rollercoaster Park, but I got to deliver you to home first, but this traffic is stopping me."
"Dad, can I come with you? I know stuff about the mystery that you don't know."
"How do you?"
"Well I kind of inspected myself."
"What, I thought I told you not to."
"I don't think you did."
"Oh well, I might as well take you along."
"Wahoo!" Said Jason as they turned a corner to Rollercoaster Park.
They arrived with Geoff standing on the front steps. He looked down into the car and saw Jason.
"Why is he coming?" Said Geoff.
"Because he has information, now come on."
Jason and Michael both stepped out of the car. The two dads were going to go through the exit but Jason stopped them.
"No were going to the forest, I know where their base is."
So the parents followed Jason over to the small forest and on to the cement pathway. They came across the cabin, and looked around and found nothing. Jason showed them the hole that he found and he jumped in, falling onto the trampolines. The parents jumped in after Jason and followed him through the tunnel and arrived at the locked door.
The two dads tried ramming into the door, but they couldn't open it. They ushered Jason over and with one last hit with all three shoulders, they crashed down the door. Michael took out a flashlight and pointed it on a box.
"These are the spring mechanics that Gabe told us about."
"Wait, who's Ga-"
They heard footsteps and dragging from far away. They walked out the door and over to the ladder. They looked up and saw that it was dark because of the tarp. The two parents took out pistols and got them ready for anything. Michael went first, then Geoff, then Jason. Michael opened the trapdoor and heard shuffling from up in the cabin. Then the tarp was lifted up. Someone's face was staring down at them and then it got frightened.
"These people have guns!"
"Run Luke run!"
Luke tried to run away from the trio but he tripped on a piece of wood and fell on his face. Then Michael went over to Luke and waited for the other two to come up.
"Geoff can you stay here and guard Luke, well me and Jason have some work to do."
Jason and his dad ran outside and onto the cement walkway and saw the rough voice running away towards the parking lot. They both ran after him and Michael started firing warning shots in the air and yelling stop but the robber wouldn't listen.
They passed the other cabin and arrived at the parking lot. They saw the robber jumping in a car. The father and son jumped into their car and drove out of the parking lot after the robber. He's almost finished the mystery, do you like it so far? Put your votes and comments once your finished.
