Jason Denim: The Mystery at Rollercoaster Park

15: The Gift

After the ending of the mystery, Jason went home with his father. Instead of an angry mom at the front door, it was a happy one. She hugged Jason and Michael and allowed Jason to go upstairs into his bedroom. He decided to do all his homework but he got interrupted by a ring at the door.
His mom called up saying it was the news people and Jason came down with his father. Jason had to retell the story of the mystery and with his friend and dad, he was able to finish it. Before the news cast left, Jason asked what channel and time were they going to have him on. He was going to be on at 9:30 pm on channel 134.
Jason raced back up the steps and sat down on his bed. He got his math books and finished them that night. The Denim Family went out for dinner at the Works and they had some awesome burgers. The other people in the restaurant complemented them on solving the mystery. On the walk back from the restaurant, other people gave compliments as well.
When they got home, the family got their pyjamas on and went to the basement to watch the news that Jason was on. After that they watched the family's favourite show off of CraveTV, 30Rock. It was so awesome for Jason. He was on the news and he was a city sensation, it was amazing.
As he went to sleep he was having a blast. His dreams were amazing, people all congratulating him, applauding him, it was scary but cool. He woke up with a happy mood, at 6:00. He went downstairs and ate his favourite cereal. He got all of his stuff ready and texted Levi at 6:30 and surprisingly he was awake. They arrived to school at 7:00 and had fun playing basketball. Once other school kids came over they started cheering for who they wanted to win. Jason got another buzzer beater and everyone cheered, for both of them.
Jason had a great school day with people wanting to hang out with him, and have fun. Even the teachers applauded for him and Levi. After school, Jason went home, being the happiest person on earth. He finished his homework and was about to read but before he could, his phone rang.
"Hello?"
"Hi Jason, it's Sarah."
"Hey Sarah, how are you?"
"Good, how are you wait why am I saying this, of course your good."
"Yes I am, what did you call me for?"
"I was wondering if you wanted to come to our private beach that we found?"
"Sure, what time?"
"At 5:30, see you then."
"Okay bye." Then Jason hung up.
Jason checked the time and saw that it was 5:00, he ran downstairs and told his mom about it. Then he went to get his bike and helmet and sped off towards the secret beach.

He arrived right on time, with Sarah looking at him from up on the dune.
"Come on, it's nice up here."
Jason left his bike down on the bottom of the dune and ran up to Sarah. They sat down on their normal sand dune and talked about the mystery for a bit. It was a beautiful sight looking out over the water. It was calm, and the sky was becoming its shade of orange. Then Sarah turned to Jason.
"I have a gift for you Jason."
"Really, what's the gift?"
"That would spoil it though."
"But I'm fine with spoilers."
"Fine then, here it is."
Then Sarah pulled Jason close to her and they kissed. Jason backed away and said "I like my gift." Then they kissed again, without anyone seeing, in the calmness of the dawn.
