I shook my head at Zara, who was sitting on my bed.

"I really dont wanna talk right now..." I said. It was true. I was still hurt over Caelin's kiss. It had truly been the most perfect moment of my life, and it pained me more to pretend otherwise. And...

I hurt me to see the look of despare on Caelin's face every time I saw him. His impossibly dark eyes were no longer sarcastic, or witty. They were broked. He looked like a beaten puppy. Who, y'knoe, had big black wings...

"Deliah, hun, its about Caelin." Zara said.

"What about him?"

"What do you really think of him?" I could tell she was bursting to say something.

"What do you mean?"

"Do you really hate him as much as you seem to?" Zara asked.

"Yes. Well, no. I dont know." I flopped onto my pillows. "I feel like there's something pulling me toward him, as if he is where I am supposed to be. I think I hate him, but I need him. Does that make any sense?"

"Nope." said Zara cheerfuly.

I sighed and continued. "I feel like there's something deeper to him. I know there's reason he brought me here. I dont know what it is, but," I took a breath, "I think theres a lot more to know about him. And, well, about me."

Zara was almost bouncing up and down. "But, Delaih, dont you see? There is a reason-"

"God, Zara, do you want to know the truth?" I inturuppted (sp?)

Zara tilted her head to the side. "What?"

"I think I love him." I was feeling so sleepy now. So warm. This relevation was true, and that exploded inside me all at once. I loved Caelin, and in a way that nobody has ever loved somebody.

I swear Zara shrieked. "Deliah, thats great, because-"

"Promise not to tell him?" I begged.

"Huh?"

"He cant know. Please?"

Zara sighed, looking crestfallen. "Sure."

With my last bit of consiousness (sp?) I said, "Thank you."

I drifted to sleep.

**Caelin**

Zara walked into my room, hanging her head. I didnt know why, because I felt great...

"Did you tell her?" I asked.

"No. She fell asleep."

"Perfect!"

Zara's head snapped up, her cat-green eyes confused. "Wait, what?"

"I've given it some thought. I want Deliah to love me before you tell her."

Zara's eyes got wide. "Uhuh. Okay. Good." she walked over to my wall and...

Promptly started banging her head against it.

I rushed over to stop her, taking her by her shoulders. She rubbed at one of the small white horns on her head.

"What the fvck?!" I said.

"I CANT TELL YOU!" Said Zara.

"Tell me what?"

"Did you not get my last statement? I made a promise. I'm sorry, Caelin."

She turned and walked out of the room, grumbling.
