I woke up the next morning and the first thing I saw was Caelin. He was still asleep, with his long, soot-black eyelashes leaving shadows on his cheeks. I smiled and closed my eyes, hoping that I could let the perfect moment last just a bit longer.
After a while I knew Zara was going to come in here wondering where Caelin and I were. I sighed and got out of bed, looking on the floor for my nightgown. I found what was left of it strewn across the room. It hit me then.
I had just lost my virginity to somebody that I had spent most of my time here hating.
I turned and looked at Caelin, seeing his sleeping form. I didnt see how I could ever have hated him. He rustled his wings in sleep.
I looked around the room for something to wear. I settled on one of Caelin's dress-shirts, which was the only thing he wore other that t-shirts. It covered me like a mini dress when I buttoned it up.
I went downstairs.
I walked down stairs to see breakfast on the table. Zara was sitting there, her food untouched. She had her legs crossed and her eyes were narrowed. She was smiling.
I blushed. It was obvious that she knew.
She rolled her eyes and grinned at me. "It was only a matter of time..."
Caelin came sleepily down the stairs. His hair and wings were bed-mused and he was smiling sleepily. I grinned at him.
His eyes widened in disbeliefe. "That...wasnt a dream?"
I blinked. "Thats not a bad thing, is it?"
He smiled. "Not in the slightest."
Zara, being smart, slipped out of the room as Caelin walked over to me.
"So... what does this mean?" Caelin asked. "Are we... together now?"
I shrugged. "I'm not sure. I mean... i think I'm in love with you." I blushed again. Caelin's black eyes almost popped out of his head.
"You hve no idea how long I've been wanting to hear you say that."
He kissed me then, and all of hell was gone.
**Caelin**
I kissed Deliah and she sighed in my arms. I smiled against her lips.
I wasnt going to have Zara tell her yet. I didnt know why, but it felt like I shouldnt tell her. But that was okay. She was mine again. She loved me and she knew I was madly in love with her. All was well with the world again.
We pulled apart and she rested against my chest. I ran my habds through her long, snow-white hair and said "Oh, Deliah. My angel. I love you too."
I had no clue how much that sentance would cost me.
