Apologize

Jongin P.O.V

I walked left and right in front of the operation room. I prayed for her not her condition to be worse. If something bad happens to her, I can't stop blaming and hating myself. I can't lose her now... I really need her ... for my heart .... for my love ..... and for me.....

??? : " Jongin."

As soon as I heard someone calling my name, I turned my head to look at since I knew it was Grandmom. I saw her running towards me with the worrying eyes. She was shocked to see me with my injuries.

Grandmom : " What's going on, dear?"

Me : " I'm sorry... It's all my fault.."

Grandmom : " What really happened to you two? ... Did you fight..?"

Me : " ... I had fought with a bunch of guys... When a guy tried to hit me, ... she protected me from being hurt... As a result, she .. was hit.. and now..."

Grandmom : " Omo.. Where is she now?"

Me : " .. In the operation room.."

Grandmom : " Will she be ok..?"

Me : " ... I don't know well either.."

When Grandmom was about to fall down, I caught her in my arms. Then I helped her to sit on the bench and made her to calm down...

After a while, a doctor came out of the operation room. I hurriedly got up from my seat and so did Grandmom.

Jongin : " Doctor.. How is she? Is she ok?"

Doctor : " Yes... Our operation is absolutely success.. But the patient is still in the unconscious state.. We need to wait for the time when she'll wake up.. I can't say exactly when she wakes up. .. But she'll be ok.. since her inner organs of head weren't affected by the accident.."

Grandmom : " Yes.. Thanks.. Thank you so much.."

Author P.O.V

After they set Jinri in a normal patient room, they allowed her family to see her. Her family is no other than Jongin and Grandmom.

As soon as Grandmom saw the unconscious Jinri, she felt upset and started crying. So she excused herself and left the room while Jongin was with Jinri. The room was absolutely filled with silence expect the beep sound from the medical machine beside Jinri's bed. But Jongin tried to break the ice wall. He walked closer to the patient's bed which Jinri was lying on. He took her pale hand into his and squeezed it gently.

Jongin : " Wake up now.. You shouldn't be like that... The one who should lie down .. is me, not you... Why did you do that..? What am I....? Why did you ..protect me..?"

The more words he said, the more his tears dropped. He calmed down himself and let out of a sigh. While he was staring at the sleeping girl, he leaned closer to her face. Little did he know, he kissed her forehead deeply while her hand still into his.

Jongin P.O.V

When Grandmom was with Choi Jin, I went back home and cleaned myself. Then I went to school to her furlough and mine too. I needed to get mine as well since I wanted to take care of her. That's why I decided to go to school and attend my class.

On my way to class, I saw Kim Taehyung coming towards me. I tried to ignore him and continue to walk but he grabbed my arm.

Me : " Excuse me?"

Taehyung : " Where is Jinri?"

Me : " Why do you need to know..?"

Taehyung : " I'm her friend. Of course, I need to know."

Me : " .. She's now in the hospital.."

Taehyung : " What?! Why is she hospitalizing?"

Me : " Why must I explain in details?"

Taehyung : " Perhaps, you did something bad to her?!"

Me : " .. She was hit by someone on her head last night.. You get?"

Taehyung : " Which hospital?"

As soon as he got the address of the hospital from me, he hurriedly left the school ignoring his all classes. They said they are friends... But I don't think so... I'm sure that Kim Taehyung has some feelings for that girl...

At the recess time, Seulgi came to my seat. She started nagging me why I was absent to call her last night. But I was just ignored her and continued my works.

Suddenly, my phone rang that made Seulgi shut up. I looked at the caller ID and found it was from Kim Taehyung.

Me : " Hel--- What?! .... Ok. I'm coming."

As soon as I ended the call, I grabbed my bag and ran towards my bicycle. I rode my bicycle with the highest acceleration to reach the hospital as soon as possible.

Kim Taehyung said Choi Jin gets waking up now. I can't stop worrying for her to be ok...

As soon as I arrived, I rushed into the hospital. I had to say many 'Sorry' to the many elder people since I bumped onto them on my way. When I had opened the door roughly, I saw that girl sitting on the bed while gazing outside the window.

Jinri P.O.V

While I was gazing outside the window, I heard the door being opened roughly. So I quickly changed my gaze to the door. I saw Jongin breathing heavily and standing at the door. He looked being out of breath from running.

Taehyung : " ...I'm leaving to get some drink.."

After Taehyung had left, Jongin approached near me. He didn't do anything and kept staring at me. I felt uneasy about being stared by him, so I tried to speak first.

Me : " Jongin.."

Jongin : " Stupid. Why did you do that?! Why did you hurt yourself?!"

Me : " .. I .. I just .. don't want to .. you to be hurt.."

Jongin : " Who said to protect me?! Why are you so stupid?! .. Why..... just because of me..?"

Me : " .. I'm sorry.."

I was so shocked and my eyes were wide when he hugged me suddenly. He was hugging me really tight..

Jongin : " .... I'm sorry.. I'm sorry for yelling at you... for making you hurt... and for everything.."

What did I just hear? Did Jongin apologize me? The one who hates me, is now apologizing me...?
