~~ Your POV ~~

Laxus and I were about to head to his house, where ever that was, but I remembered that I didn't have any other pairs of clothes.

"Hey, could we-" I started off, but got interupted.

"Stop by your house, and pick up some clothed for you? Not now. Like I said earlier, I'm tiered, and wanna go home." Laxus said, sounding like this wasn't his problem. 'But you know, it really isn't his problem though.' The tiny voice at the back of my mind said, and I ignored it.

"You really expect me to wear this, while sleeping? Have you ever heard of hygiene? Also, STOP READING MY MIND!!" At some point during my arm flailing, he had turned around with an eyebrow raised.

"What the hell was that?" He asked.

"What was what?" I asked in return.

"The whole arm flailing thing." He tried to mimic what I was doing.

"I don't know. I just do it." I shruged.

"Well, don't do that again. It's weird." He turned back around and continued walking.

"Hey wait!"

"Hey is for horses. Not for little fawns like you. And no. You can't slap me."

"How many times am I going to have to ask you to stop reading my mind?" My eyebrow started to twitch in annoyance.

"I'll stop when hell freezes over."

"Can I murder you then?"

"Ha! I'd like to see you try." He laughed and I growled.

"Stupid blond vampire idiot." I mumbled as I started walking ahead of him.

"Oi! Where do you think you're going!"

"Away from you."

"Do you wanna be killed by those wear wolves?!" He grabbed my sprained wrist, causing me to hiss in pain.

"Wear wolves?! I thought they were normal wolves! And would you let go?! You're hurting me!" I tried to wrench my wrist free from his grasp.

"Huh? Oh! Sorry." He let go of my wrist.

"Sure you are. Look, at this point I'd rather be attacked by wear wolves, then stay here where almost everyone looks at me like I'm food, and I'm just waiting for them to take a bite." I turned to walk away again. Suddenly, I was picked up, and thrown over someone's shoulder.

"Hey!! Put me down!!" I yelled at the culprit, who turned out to be Laxus.

"No. And didn't you hear me? I said that no one would attack you when I'm around, and I mean it."

"And as far as I'm concerned, I'm just a pain in the butt human you're supposed to look after. So why don't you just set me down, and I'll be on my way."

"I'm looking after you, because Gramps asked me too. So I'm not gonna let you be a suicidal little fawn, that wants to go play with the things that want to hunt her down." He said as he started off down a worn path.

"Fine." I huffed.

"Hey, you should be thanking me. Cause once all of this is done, we can go our separate ways, and live life the way we normally do. You in your filthy, over crowded towns and cities. And me in this peaceful forest where no humans are."

"See? You can't wait to get rid of me, and you don't like humans. So just put me down, and I'll leave you alone."

"Sorry. No can do. Can't risk you telling the whole filthy human population about us, just in case you do manage to make it back with out being killed."

"Well then, erase my memory, then drop me off at a police station now. Why wait until I'm healed?" I tilted my head.

"You ask too many questions. We're here." He stopped at the base of a tree.

"Here? Here where? It just looks like a bunch of trees." I looked around.

"That's the point. Hold on tight." He bunched himself up, like he was about to jump.

"Hold on? Wh-AAAHHH!!!!" Before I could finish, he leaped into the air, then grabbed onto a tree about 15 feet up, and proceeded to scale up the tree.

"Jeez. Don't scream. I swear you're like a banshee." He continued to climb, until he pushed through a thick covarage of leaves and branches, revealing a tree house city. There were tree houses everywhere, all connected by a systems of zip-lines, rope bridges, or wooden walk ways. All of them relatively close to one another, forming a community. We just happened to be heading twords one that seemed to be bigger, and farther away from the center of the community, then most.

"Whoa! This.... this is AWESOME!!" I looked around, wide eyed.

"I'm glade you think so. Cause you won't be seeing much more then this." He said as we reached the platform that surrounded the house.

"Is this one yours?"

"Yeah, it is."

"Wow." He opened the door, and walked inside, then walked twords a door that revealed a bedroom. Then he set me down.

"This is your room for now. The bathroom is connected to it. Now don't go exploring the house. I'll give you a full tour tommarow. Good night." He turned to walk away.

"Hey wait. I know I'm a guest in your house, but I'm still not gonna sleep in this." I crossed my arms as he turned slightly back twords me, then sighed.

"Wait here." He walked out, then came back seconds later with a folded purple cloth object in his hand, then threw it at me. I panicked to catch it, and almost dropped it. I unfolded it, and found out it was a shirt.

"Wholly crap. This would be big enough to be a dress on me." I said quietly to myself.

"Yeah well, it's the only thing I have that will work for a temporary solution. Now good night." He turned and walked out, closing the door behind him. I looked at the shirt again, then shruged. Taking my clothes off, and putting it on. I sighed once I had it on.

"This is way better then those dirty, torn up clothes." I said to myself, then went to bed.
