Joey's pov

Here i sat with my shoulders slumped and my knees together. This is how i've been for the past four hours. Yes FOUR HOURS i've been waiting for my love to return to me. But that hasn't happened yet sadly here i sit. All i've heard is the intercom rattling off plane times and when they lifted off and descended. I've also heard the joy of people reuniting with a loved one. That joy would've been mine four hours ago but my love hasn't shown up. This airport is my least favorite place.

Let me explain a bit my boyfriend Daniel Preda had a modeling job all the way in Germany. He had to leave for an entire year and he couldn't even vitit. I would've gone with him in a heartbeat but no distractions allowed and apparently partners weren't allowed. I've skyped him, called him, texted any type of communication i've tried but nothing could replace him.

Nothing could replace his muscular, warm arms that held me in my sleep. Nothing could replace his soft yet firm voice that played in my head like music. Nothing could replace his luscious lips from his gentle pecks to our passionate kisses. I couldn't get those things through a screen no matter how much i wanted to get them.

Tears rimmed my eyes and i tried to distract myself by going onto my phone for about the hundredth time. Without realizing it tears leaked onto my screen and i sighed. Finally i put my head in my hands and i softly sobbed. I've done this too many times.

Daniel's pov

One year, it's been one year since i've seen my boy. One year since i've gotten to feel his warm lips on mine or since i've stroked his soft hair. One year of agony and darkness because my sunshine wasn't there to be my light. I've just missed him everyday even when we talked for hours. I know it's affected joey too because there's been nights where he called me bawling over how much he missed me. I've done the same this seperation has been devestating for both of us. Every time i called him i got sadder because it reminded me just how much i've missed him these past months.

Now i was on my flight home but it got delayed four hours due to small storms here and there. I understand it can be dangerous but i just need to see my love. After another half hour we finally touched the ground and my smile wouldn't dare leave my face.

Daniel: Just fifteen minutes baby hold on.

I said to myself as i got my overhead bag and we were let off the plain rather slowly. I saw the revolving doors and i pushed past everyone running thorough them. I saw a slumped figure and i knew it was him my everything.

Daniel: JOEY!!!!!

His head shot up and i saw his bright smile from here. I've missed that smile like you wouldn't believe.

We both ran to eachother at our fastest pace meeting in the middle for our first contact in over a year. We held onto eachother tightly and we were both in tears. He pulled from the hug and smashed his lips onto mine and i eagerly kissed back. This kiss overwealmed me from the amount of love and passion it contained. I held him closer and remembered my bags.

Daniel: Babe...bags.

He giggled and pulled away holding onto my hand tightly. We walked to baggage claim and picked up my large suitcases as we walked outside.

Joey: I've missed you so much.

Daniel: I've missed you too.

Joey's pov

The amount of happiess i felt was intense. Never in my life have i been this filled with joy. He put his bags in the car and we both kissed again before we climbed into the car.

Daniel: We should go on a date tonight.

Joey: That sounds like a great idea let's do it.

He pecked my lips and held my hand as he started driving. I can't wait to cuddle and kiss all the time just like we used to. We didn't talk the whole way back because we didn't need to the silence was comforting. We arrived home and we ran inside but he did something i didn't expect. He pushed me on the couch and kissed me passionatley as i stroked his hair. Wolf came bounding in barking and bouncing as we pulled away laughing.

Daniel: I've missed you too wolf.

He petted him and i smiled as he pulled me into a hug. It's suprising how just two arms can make you go mad if you don't have them. For the next few hours we just cuddled and kissed and did other things. No we didn't fuck you nasties that's for later haha.

Daniel: Babe we need to get ready.

Joey: Alright where are we going?

Daniel: It's a surprise just dress extra fancy.

Joey: Anything for you sexy.

I kissed him and ran to my room rumaging through my closet. After about a ten minute search i found the perfect outfit. Actually i just wore the outfit from the Hunger Games Mocking Jay permeire. I just wore different dress shoes for this occasion. I fixed up my hair and strutted downstairs to see daniel in a tux similar to mine without the bow tie.

Daniel's pov

Daniel: You look breathtaking.

Joey: As do you kind sir.

He giggled and i held his waist planting a soft kiss on his forehead.

Daniel: Let us depart for a night of fun.

Joey: Yes let us go.

We walked to the car and quickly drove to the resturant i chose.

Joey: Ooh this place is fancy and i love the romantic music

He said as he sat down with a smile.

Daniel: Only the best for my sunshine.

He smiled and we ordered some food and drinks. We just talked and caught up as we devoured our meal both of us were quite hungry. After the meal i had something planned. We slowly emerged through the doors of the resturant and walked to the car.

Joey: Where to next?

Daniel: You'll see.

We drove for about two hours and we made it to our new destination. We both got out and joey gasped.

Joey: Daniel we haven't been here since we were little.

We were at this big patch of woods right outside the city we played here or came to cry but this is our spot. I grabbed his hand and we slowly walked through the thick alignment of trees. The sun just set and moonlight lit our way. I stopped in my tracks and took both of his hands breathing deeply.

Daniel: Joey my love you can not begin to understand how much i love you. You don't understand how much i would give so you could be this happy every day. We've been together for two years now and every day i've fallen even deeper in love with you. Everything about you from your cute little phrases to your adorable giggles and laughs. You're beautiful when you cry and so much more. I want our hearts to beat for eachother for the rest of our lives so i have an important question for you.

I got on one knee and pulled out the engagement ring that was burning a thick hole in my pocket.

Daniel: Joseph Micheal Graceffa will you marry me?

His hands flew to his mouth and tears seaped out.

Joey: Y-yes oh my god daniel YES.

I slid the ring on his finger and pulled him into a beautiful kiss. He hugged me and i kissed him again.

Joey: I love you so much.

Daniel: I love you too.
