Joey's pov

Here i sat alone again. Wolf was at my side and i had a cup of hot chocolate with marshmellows in my hands. I lightly blew over the hot liquid making it cool so i wouldn't burn myself. It has been like this for over three weeks now.

Shane would leave for work and he wouldn't come home until long after i've gone to bed. Then the next morning he's already gone and the bed is cold. I mean i understand that work gets busy but if your work is making you neglect your boyfriend you're doing too much.

Some days i have the thought that maybe he's cheating but i almost instantly burn that thought from my mind because shane loves me....i think. Tonight i decided to stay up late and wait for him because i haven't talked to him in probably three weeks as well.

It was four am and i was close to dosing off when i heard the door creak open. I shot up and tore the blanket off of me quickly shivering at the cold air. I stood up and he jumped back in slight fear.

Shane: Oh my god joey you scared me what are you doing up this late?

Joey: Why are you getting home this late?

Shane: I-I had a late day.

Joey: It's four in the fucking morning shane no day job goes that long.

I sighed and placed my hands firmly on my hips.

Joey: Shane a-are you cheating on me?

Tears rimmed my eyes and the tiniest whimper escaped my lips. Shane's eyes went wide and he ran to me taking me deeply into his arms as he rocked me. He just shusshed me and let me cry i love when he does that.

Shane: Baby no no i would never cheat on you i've just been really busy don't worry shh.

Shane's pov

After another half hour he finally calmed down and we had moved to the couch. I soaked his soft hair and now only little whimpers were leaving his beautiful lips.

Shane: I know i've been gone a lot but trust me it's all worth it.

Joey: What are you planning shane?

Shane: It's a surprise.

He giggled and i felt so happy. Joey is such an amazing person i feel like i'm too lucky to have him all to myself.

I continued to rock him until i saw his little eyes flutter closed. I carried my precious human up to our room and i stripped him down to his boxers. I did the same and i crawled into bed pulling him close to me. I yanked the covers over us and i quickly dozed off next to my baby.

Joey's pov

I woke up to the chill morning air and i looked outside. My eyes went wide with shock it was snowing in l.a? It never snows here but i'm still excited. I raced back to bed and jumped into shane's arms.

Joey: Shaney wake up you gotta look outside.

I pressed my hands against his chest and shook him. I know i seem like a child but i haven't seen snow in two years since i missed christmas at home last year.

Shane: Mmm joeybear let me sleep i get you're excited but please.

Joey: Fine then.

I turned over and scooted to the other side of the bed. I felt his warm arms pull me back to his side and by instinct i cuddled closer.

Shane: Come on babe don't be like that.

He placed soft kisses on my neck and i giggled.

Joey: Alright but i'm hungryyyy let's go make breakfast.

Shane: I asked david and he already has it done.

He smiled and pulled me out of bed as he scooped me up carrying me bridal style. I smiled and snuggled into his hairy chest making him chuckle.

Shane's pov

I carried him downstairs and we ate breakfast in a comfortable silence. Joey decided to go to the gym and i put my plan into action. I called david from his room.

Shane: Ok so you got the petals, the candles, and the camera set up?

David: Mhm i just need help laying out the petals and lighting the candles.

We rushed around the living room tossing down white and red rose petals all over the floor. The room smelled like fresh roses and i thought the scent was awesome. We lit some candles here and there and we dimmed the lights until the room was almost completley dark.

I dashed upstairs and pulled on my black dresspants with dress shoes and a suit jacket. I tied a little bow tie around my neck and i straightened out my quiffed hair. Now i had to wait for my love while a certain something burned a hole in my pocket.

Joey's pov

After an amazing and much needed workout i finally pulled back into my driveway. I had showered at the gym so i was all fresh for shane. I put the keys in the lock and pushed the door open closing it behind me.

Joey: Shane i'm home where are you?

I walked into the living room and i gasped at the beautiful petals and candles. The lights were suddenly flipped on and i saw a big poster board in front of me. In pretty letters it said turn around.

I quickly turned and saw shane in a fancy tuxedo and he had a big smile on his face. He took both my hands and i giggled.

Shane: Joseph Michael Graceffa you are the love of my life. When we started dating almost two years ago i knew you were the one for me. We definitley have had our ups and downs but i just know we'll stay together through it all. The love i have for you is unmatched to anyone else i've ever dated. My love for you is raw and true and it continues to grow every day. Joey you're perfect and i still don't know how i got so lucky to have you. Now i want to keep you forever so i have a very important question for you.

He got on one knee and my hands flew to my mouth as tears spilled out.

Shane: Joey will you marry me?

There was a huge lump in my throat so i just responded with a nod. He slid the silver band with diamonds over my finger and it shimmered in the light. He got up from his knee and i attacked him with the most passioniate kiss i could muster. I jumped onto him and wrapped my legs around his waist.

He pulled away and wiped my tears as i smiled.

Joey: I love you so much shaney.

Shane: I love you too joeybear.

Joey: S-so this is what you were planning?

Shane: Mhm everyday for three weeks.

Joey: I'm sorry for doubting you.

Shane: You had a reason too but i'm glad you liked the surprise.

Yes i know shitty title but i really liked this one. It was just cute now anyways should i make these one shots longer? Should i make them 2000 words instead of 1000+ i'm not sure. Since i'm writing it tomorrow i need smut suggestions leave them if you have them. Anywhozies bye byeeeee <3
