Shane's pov

I woke up at four am i was supossed to be up in three hours to get ready for school. Yes i, a sixteen year old is waking up before i have to. Now the reason i'm up is because i have a secret. Me and my boyfriend joey can talk to eachother. Now i know what you're thinking um duh shane everyone can do that pretty much. But the way we do it is we speak through the stars.

Yes i know i know that sounds mental but i'm not lying. About a year ago when we first started dating joey was out of town and i had a really rough day. I needed him but he was away. That very night i was looking at the stars and i heard his voice.

Joey: It's alright shane just stay strong.

I freaked out and talked about it with him the next day. It's strange somehow our brains are connected and our love is so strong we can communicate without using anything.

Now about ten months ago joey had to move because his dad's job made him move. I don't have a cellphone and neither does he but we were determined to remain a couple. So once we found out about this ability we had this is what we've done. Every night for three months we've gotten up at four am and talked till six so we can get one more hour of sleep. So we talk two hours every morning and those two hours are the highlight of my entire day.

I looked up at the stars and the slight sun rays emerging from the long night. I smiled when the clock hit four o two. I heard slight breathing that wasn't my own.

Joey: Good morning my love i hope you slept well.

Shane: Good morning sunshine i slept well because i dreamt about you.

Joey: I did too i just want to see your beautiful face again.

Shane: So do i my love maybe we'll see eachother soon.

Joey: We can only hope.

We continued talking for the remaining two hours and we were both getting tired.

Joey: Goodnight my love i'll talk to you tomorrow morning.

Shane: Can't we do it earlier at like midnight?

Joey: Shane you and me both know it only works at very early morning.

Shane: I know i know i-i just miss you so much

I wiped my eyes and sniffled.

Joey: Don't cry my sweet boy i can't be ther eto wipe your tears that and i'm gonna c-cry too.

I heard him sniffle and i smiled.

Shane: Then don't cry my beautiful baby i can't be there to hold you close.

Joey: Ok shane i have to go goodnight love.

Shane: Goodnight i'll see you in my dreams.

Joey: As will i.

I felt that connection lessen and i sighed i just wish i could hold him one more time.

I quickly laid on my bed drifting off and dreaming about my love who is all the way across the country.

Joey's pov

After i finished talking to shane i had a huge smile on my face. Today we're moving back to our own home town again. Dad got another job offer and we could move today. We had been packing for hours and everyone went to bed around three am. Thankfully because i didn't want to miss a single second of talking time with him. I'm so happy we're able to talk our relationship is stronger than ever. I just miss seeing him holding him touching him making love to....you get the point. After we finished talking i quickly packed up the rest of my room and the living room.

We were now on the road and i had my headphones in while i smiled ear to ear.

Joey: Just hold on shaney i'll be in your arms soon.

Shane's pov

I woke up to someone shaking me and my vision was blurred.

Shane: Joey?

I heard a feminine chuckle and i sighed it wasn't him

Mom: Sadly it's your mother it's time to get up sweetie.

I groaned and sat up wiping the sleep and dried tears out of my eyes.

Shane: I'll be downstairs in a bit.

She hugged me and walked downstairs. I quickly got dressed and trudged downstairs. Breakfast was made and set i just ate a little bit.

Dad: Shane try and eat more.

Shane: I'm not hungry.

I wiped my eyes and grabbed my backpack waiting for my mom to take me to school. She grabbed her keys and she patted my back.

Mom: It'll be ok.

She drove me to hell or as some people call it school. I still get bullied but since joey left i have no one to turn to and i need someone to turn to.

She dropped me off and gave me a reassuring smile before she pulled off leaving me at hells gates. I slowly trudged inside and the name calling had started. I had learned to ignore it but the physical pain you can never ignore. My biggest and worst bully sawyer approached me.

Sawyer: Hey queer your little boyfriend isn't back yet aww i'm sorry

He smirked and grabbed my collar.

Sawyer: I'm feeling generous today so i won't hurt you too bad.

He shoved me against the locker and slapped me making me fall. He gave me one more kick to the ribs and he walked away laughing to his friends. I just collected the books i dropped and went to class.

Halfway through the intercom chimed through the halls and rooms.

Intercom: Shane yaw will you please report to the main office.

Everyone looked at me and i put my books in my backpack swiftly exiting the class to the main office at the front of the school.

Shane: You wanted me?

Desk lady: Head to the principals office there's something for you in there.

I raised my eyebrow and walked back to his offìce walking inside. His chair was turned around and his voice sounded different.

???: Do you know why i want you in here?

Shane: Um no sir.

He turned around and there joey sat.

Joey: You're here cause i wanted to see you.

My smile was so big and i threw my bag down as joey ran around the desk. We both ran to eachother embracing eachother tightly just feeling eachother anywhere we could. I kissed all over his face and finally our lips locked tightly. Our first kiss in ten months his lips were still so soft and smooth. We both shared tears of joy and we continued our lust and love filled kiss.

Shane: H-how are you here.

Joey: My dad got another j-job offer and we moved back.

Shane: I-i'm so fucking happy you don't even know.

He covered my mouth and shusshed me.

Joey: No bad words shaney.

I giggled he was just as adorable as before he left.

Shane: Of couse my love anything for you.

We sunk down to our knees just sharing whimpers and joy filled kisses and cries.

Joey: I love you.

Shane: I love you more i'm so happy.

I kissed around his face just feeling his smooth skin on my lips.

Shane: Even if we're close or away every night we will always talk through the stars.

Authors pov

This idea came to me earlier today and i finally got to writing it this is just cute i think. I'm pondering wether or not to do a smut one shot or now i'm still thinking. Eh whatever i'll decide tomorrow. Anyways bye byeeeeeeee <3
