Chapter 5

I woke up on the floor cuddling Hannah, who was still asleep. I checked my phone. 11:30 pm
Shit shit shit, I thought.
"Hannah." I gently shook her trying to wake her up.
"Hmm?" She said still groggy. She looks so cute with bed head.
"It's 11:30, I need to get home, now!"
"Oh shit!" Hannah jumped up grabbing her keys.

We were already at my place before I realized I was still wearing the onsie, and I forgot my clothes.
I said goodbye to Hannah and walked in the door.
"Where have you. been?" Asked dad slurring his words together and stumbling. He's drunk. He's been sober since mom left. Ten years.
"Sorry dad, I fell asleep, did you get my message?" "Why are you wearing that?"
Shit.
"Ash's car wouldn't start, so I stayed with him.
"You slut! I knew you two were sleeping together. I just thought you'd have enough sense to not come home wearing that. And reeking of sweat."
"Dad we're not sleeping together."
"Liar."
"How can I sleep with a guy I'm not even remotely attracted to?"
"It happens all the time! You're being paid aren't you!?"
I took a deep breath.
"DadImgay."
Total silence.
"What!" Dad whispered loudly and angerly, raising a hand.
I grimaced waiting for contact. It never happened. I opened my eyes. Dad was sitting on the couch crying.
"Do you know why your mother left?"
"No, why"
"She left because she's gay too, she left us for a woman."
I was in shock.
"Is that what you're afraid of, that we'll leave and never come back, oh my gosh, dad why would I leave? Who was it who took care of us while mom was gone?"
"Just.....just leave, you can come back and get your Stuff, but you can't live here," He said calmly. "I'm not angry, just.....confused I guess."

Just then Hannah texted.
Hey you okay, you haven't called yet. -H

Yeah, I just told my dad -B

Really! That's great!! How'd it go? -H

Not great. Could you
please come pick me up? -B

Yeah, of course! be there soon -H

Okay, see you soon. -B

Two chapters in one day!! WHAATT. I write mostly at school so no WiFi to update. I have to wait till I get home. And right now we're supposed to be getting ready for my step sisters' wedding so I've been SUPER busy like ALL the time. Any who. Do you like this story? What can I do differently?
