There was a silence the seemed to last forever.
I looked at Hannah with watery eyes.
"Its okay to be afraid of something new, especially feelings. it helps me to talk, and write about my feelings, maybe you could at least try."
"Yeah, yeah, okay. I can try it." I said between breaths.
"Hey, why don't we call Mamrie and Grace over later and we can go out, it seems like you need a night out."
"Yeah, I took a deep breath in attempt to calm my nerves. I mean I did just reveal a secret I've kept hidden my whole life. Hannah went to the kitchen, and came back with what looked like a small glass of wine.
"Here, drink this it will help calm you down." She pushed the drink towards me.
"But I'm not 21."
"I won't tell if you don't." She joked.
"Okay." I agreed apprehensively. I took a small sip. It wasn't bad and in a few minutes I was calmed down enough to have an actual conversation. I took a deep breath to try to build enough strength to ask. "So, you don't think I'm a freak?"
"Fuck no, I think it makes you human. And it's beautiful, just like you."
