Meeting

I open my eyes and stretch. Blink a few times and check my phone. It's 8am... I pause then jump out of bed... I'm supposed be at the BAU by 9! I overslept on the first day of the job. Are you kidding me!!! I jump and run or the bathroom. I brush my hair into a ponytail. I don't have time for a shower. I put on antiperspirant and my favourite perfume thats smells like vanilla. I pop a toast in and I smile when I realize the coffee was still hot. I pour myself a coffee add 2 sugars and a bit of milk. My toast pops I grab it and run also grabbing my purse and keys on the way out.

I get to the car and start it check the time is 8:30. I live 20 minutes away. Let hope traffic isn't horrid. Then my phone ring. I pick up through the Bluetooth of my car;

"Hello?" I answer trying I wave around cars. Stupid traffic.
"Hi my name is Penelope Garcia. Hotch our boss told me to contact. Are you still making it in today?" She ask in a unusual perky voice.
"Yes I'm just stuck in dumb traffic. I will be here as soon as I can." With that I hang up. And sigh and think to myself "great first impression, Lily, good job." Eventually the traffic gets better and I speed off to Quatico.

I walk in and stand there in aww for a bit. Walk towards the security show them my badge. I walk throw metal detectors. I finally clear security. I'm in a rush. I make it to the elevator. My nerves are starting to act up. I'm drumming my fingers and playing with my red blouse. I look down at my blue jeans and wonder if it's formal enough. I groan at myself. The elevator stops and I get off and

BAM

I walk into someone sending them back and I land on them. I open my eyes and I am starring into beautiful brown eyes. I push myself off "I am so sorry!" He lift a brow and nods "May I help you with anything Miss?" I take him in, he has black hair, brown eyes and is wearing a full suit. He is gorgeous. I snap out of my trance and look at my feet refusing to look up, mostly because I'm blushing "Yeah I am looking for SSA Aaron Hotchner. I'm the new transfer." I take a deep breath an look up and he has a small smirk "You know how to make quite the expression on your boss." I'm confused at first until he holds out his hand "SSA Hotchner. But you can call me Hotch." My mouth drops open. Not only was I late but I feel on my boss... Then totally openly checked him out. I am doing so well for my first day.

"Lily Chenier." I shake his hand and smile. He doesn't smile back. He nods and says "Follow me." I follow closely behind him. I feel eyes on me but don't look. It's his, well our team. I follow him into his office. He opens the door for me. I say "Thank you." And walk in. He follows behind and closes the door. I look around his office and he first thing I notice was the picture of a little boy.

He goes around his desk and notices me looking at the picture "That's my son Jack." He says with a proud smile on his face. I smile back and sit in front of him. He opens his drawer a gives me my gun. I take it our fingers touching briefly. Then he clears his throat "Welcome to the team. SSA Chenier." I smile "Lily." He nods. And on cue a blond women with a flower head band pops her head through the door

"We've it a case." Hotch nods and looks at me "Did you bring your go bag?" I nod and say "In the truck." He smiles "Organized. And I was impressed by your file. You worked undercover for 4 years. 3 different types of martial arts. I think you'll do great." I look at him in shock "Thank you Sir." He puts his hand up "It's Hotch, let's go meet the team."
